Bonding over losing weight
 

I have noticed a phenomenon where I am becoming close to people I hardly even knew because we are all trying to lose weight. I mean this site kinda takes that to the extreme :P

But what I'm more thinking of is people that I never really had much to do with, an old work colleague, a friend of my boyfriends family... is anyone else finding this?

Aside from the example of this site, I have one or two friends that I find talking to a bit more, knowing that we're all trying to lose weight. They're both much smaller than me, but still. :P
