Default PX90 and Insanity DVD set..whose doing them?

Just wondering if any of you ladies have tried either of these work outs? I started the Instanity one yesterday and all we did was the 25 minute test and we thought we were going to die. My daughters father is a football player and he was huffing and puffing right along with me. Hope it works

I haven't done it personally, but a lot of people at my work do it. A lot of them really like it, but do say it is quite hard. They all look really fit, if that helps.

Best of luck!

I know people who do it.. and if you go to youtube, there are tons of videos about it, showing progress and such.

p90x is a killer work out, and at least for me - theres no way I could keep up with it. The website has suggestions on a fitness level you should be at before you get into the p90x work outs. that was enough to scare me off!!

good luck and have fun!!

I have it, but I am waiting until I lose at least 10 pounds before even attempting to try them! I am really enjoying my FIRM videos now.

I have a friend who does it and she has a fantastic body. Not one I would want, but she's super fit and a lot of people envy her.

Can't say I'm tempted to do it...too intense for me I think. And my ultimate goal is not to be super ripped- I'm a strong girl, and I think if I lose too much weight, I'll just look like I'm all muscle. Eek! I just want to be happily average.
As long as I'm healthy, that's good enough for me!

I have both, but haven't completed either yet.

Insanity is an awesome workout. Every time I finish one, I feel like I've just climbed Everest and am on top of the world. The hard part, is pushing play. I'm always a little scared to get started, lol. But I'm always glad I did.

I've only done the first workout of the p90x program so far. But I absolutely love it. I previously finished Chalean Extreme so I had some weight lifting experience prior to starting p90x. Let me just say I was sore for days after my first p90x workout! I'm a weird one and love being sore though.

Everyone Huffs and Puffs during Insanity. It's CRAZINESS! Modify any of the moves when needed and Saun T always encourages taking breaks when you need to! Don't feel bad if you take a lot of breaks, the goal is to workout to your max ability and as you get fitter and fitter you will take less and less breaks. Now insanity is definitely not for beginners (people who have been sedentary for months at a time) but if you've been active for a few months and are looking for a new challenge then I say go for it!

I've got the p90x videos, and although I'm no where near super fit I really enjoy doing them. I'd say to all of you, don't be afraid to get started. Do the best you can and take breaks when you need to.

I just purchased p90x today. I am super excited about it. I thought long and hard about buying it, but after watching countless youtube videos and reading many positive reviews, I decided it was for me. I don't expect to be toned in 90 days, I have too much weight to lose for that, but I do expect to build muscles. I know it will be hard, but no one ever said losing weight and building muscle was easy.
