3 Fat Chicks on a Diet Weight Loss Community

Well...I have a scale victory first. This morning I was 182.5...which puts me at almost 70 lbs lost! That's AMAZING. pretty much 20 more lbs and I will no longer be overweight, and 30 more lbs to my goal. I feel like dancing!!

Now for the NSVs. I needed some new clothes....a lot of my old ones have gotten to big....so I went to walmart.

I bought a freaking SIZE 12 pair of shorts. SHORTS. First off, SIZE 12!!!!! I took a 12 and a 14 in the fitting room, assuming that the 14 would be the one that fit. I tried on the 12s first, just for laughs....and the buttoned, zipped, and weren't even skin tight on my thighs. YESSS!!!

Also, I have not worn a pair of shorts that came higher then my knee since I was probably 10 years old. My thighs have always been a constant struggle, and when I would wear shorts that came above my knee, my legs would rub together and I'd get that painful rash...so I just didn't do it. Well, my legs are to the point where they still touch when I walk, but they don't really RUB, ya know? I don't get the rash...even though they touch. I have a pair of SIZE 12 shorts that come ABOVE MY KNEES!!! Well, 2 pairs actually. Lol.

Oh, and the last NSV for now....I was buying some plain $4 solid color t-shirts...and I grabbed all XLs, didn't try them on....because they looked like they'd be the right size. Yeah, they're not. Tried one on when I got home...I'm SWIMMING in them.....so I need to go back and exchange them for Larges. But that means there is no more "X" in my shirt size. I'm no longer EXTRA large. YAY!!!
