Hey ladies, I'm back! I disappeared with my period being so late until I could rule out pregnancy - I didn't feel comfortable dieting because of what happened last time I didn't realize I was pregnant. Turns out I'm not pregnant, which is probably a good thing.

My weight hasn't gone up or down; it's stayed stable at 155. Which is great, imho, because I wasn't watching it at all until I could confirm a negative test! I'm looking forward to reading about what you all have been up to, and losing these last 30 pounds!

Welcome back sun & nicole!

sun - Sounds like you had a lovely time in India!

nicole - How was your vacay?

fashin - Are you still around here too?

I realize I've been away from the site for a little over a week... First off I have been SOOO busy at work it's not even funny. Then add on top of that, I had to train someone for the last week and a half. I love training, but it's hard to train when I'm thinking about how behind my own work is getting. I've teetered toward the top range of the 150s unfortunately, but the good news is that the only place I can go now is down. I hope you've all been doing well!

Courtnie, I hope your recipes turned out good! My bf is the same about food he doesn't like to try new things although sometimes he will just to shut me up . Hope you are still doing good!

tuende, don't get too down about going a little overboard. At least you still ate well that's much more than I can say! And glad to see you were having nice weather this weekend, it's actually been raining here and it's usually pretty nice lol.

sun, welcome back it's great to see you again!! I'm glad you had fun in India and your plan for giving yourself a week to re-adjust before weighing sounds perfect let us know how it goes!

foodfight, good for you! I can't wait to see that number on my scale!

Nicole, It's good to see you again I'm glad everything turned out well. And great job on maintaining 155 with all that's been going on, that's awesome!!

stargzr, yes I'm still around lol. I'm like you I've been so busy with work I can't even find a second during the day to look at my phone sometimes, let alone get on 3FC and then I go straight to get my son and go home and make dinner and get him in bed and by the time that's all done I just want to crawl into bed ya know? Lol I'm with you in the climbing weight dept but you are right there's no where to go but down! I hope your work situation calms down soon!

I've been pretty much off plan for the last full week. Stupid "food days" at work! But I'm determined to get back on track, I will see 156 again soon! Lol. I hope you ladies are having a good Monday so far!

Fashin - I am with you on being back on track today! Last week wasn't bad, scale did say 161.8 on Friday, was a huge improvement over what it say when we got back from Montreal. However, after this weekend it's freaking again. I just wanna be back in the 150's. I must behave!

My calories planned for the day are a little higher then I would like after the weekend I had, but I will get some exercise in I hope. I wasn't going to exercising and just keep my calories low - but a co-worker wants to walk at lunch so that's fine. Maybe I will get a battery for my pedometer and see if I can do 10,000 steps a day again... dreaming big right now lol.

My cooking this weekend turn out great. The only thing, I did some baking/cooking for my dad and he never came and got it. So now I don't want to throw it away! It was healthier stuff but still I made way more then I normally would for just me.

Glad to see everyone back!

Sun, India sounds amazing. It must be nice to visit where you grew up.

Nicole, glad to hear every thing's back to normal for you. Congrats on maintaining. In my book, that's an accomplishment, given the situation.

stargzr, glad to see you back! Hope work calms down for you. I hear you on being busy at work, although, I suspect my busy is much different from your busy. I mean, that's assuming you don't coordinate a lot of third grade musicals . It sounds stressful to me to have to train someone new.

Fashin, glad to see you back too! Food days at work just suck. I was subbing at a school last week where teacher appreciation week apparently means make-teachers-gain-20-lbs week. I swear you couldn't even see the table in the staff room under all the cookies! I didn't spend a lot of time in there, needless to say. I know you can get back on track though. We all have to do it at one time or another .

sotypical, love that you are "dreaming big." I read this silly picture book about a dog-turned-superhero to my kids today and quite an interesting discussion with them about this very topic. I never realize how small I think until I hear 8 year olds' plans to rescue the world!

pinkalarmclock, congrats on the 2 lb loss, and without even trying! You'll be at your goal in no time. Btw, I LOVE that thread you started about what weight loss has taught us. So fun to read!

Holler to all the Seattleites! Did you hear it was supposed to be in the 70's on Thursday? Can't wait!

I apparently have a lot to say... whew! I'm just glad to see everyone back. I'm pretty much on track, in the 151-152 range. Weighing in tomorrow, hoping for another 151. We shall see.

fashin - I thought you'd have been busy. Work sounds crazy! I hope you're adjusting well. Scale going up is not the funnest thing, but it will go down for both of us!

sotypical - Get back down to the 150s! jk, Hope your food days work out and this weekend bring good news in the scale dept.

pink - You're doing great! AND so close to goal too! You must be super excited!!

tuende - No, lol, my work is more of type as fast as you can then wait for the program to catch up, haha. Sounds like you've been busy too and so glad to hear the table of cookies didn't attack you last week! You'll be jumping out of here in no time! Hopefully we'll be right behind you!!

No news for me... just busy still and no end in sight :ugh: On the plus side we don't have plans for this weekend, so hopefully I can get some thing done around the house and have time to relax. How is everyone's week so far?

I need to rant for one second. It just dawned on me that I am the same weight this morning as it was two months ago! For two months I haven't even go down. This is really depressing to me. I know the scale was down, but it is right back where it was two months ago. I seem to always run in the same loop, down and up down and up. I feel like I am totally on plan 80% of the time - so why can't it just go down. *sigh*

I know the weekends are my weak point, but still.
I also find it so frustrating that you can undo two months of hard work in two weeks.
Anyway - end rant.

Courtnie, I'm glad to see you're back on track! I too saw the 160's this weekend but after being OP and drinking lots of water I'm back down and I'm sure you will be very soon! Also, I know exactly what you mean about two month's of work being undone in two weeks it's so disheartening. But I usually find that if I get back on track pretty quickly, alot of the extra weight goes away pretty fast. Don't let yourself get too down, what's done is done. Just keep going, because we don't want to look back two months from now thinking about where we could have been! We can do this!!

pink, congrats on being able to lose without even trying! You are so close to your goal, you're doing awesome!!

tuende, way to go on staying away from those cookies! And congrats on 151 I've got my fingers crossed that you'll have another good WI!

stargzr, I'm glad you have the weekend to relax and get some stuff done it sounds like you deserve it!

sun, yes we can lol! It sounds like you had a pretty relaxing day I hope you have fun with your sister while she's here! And by the way, you look beautiful in your pic!

Still doing good diet-wise and am back down to 158, hoping to see 156 again next week! It might be tough though, because my bf's family is coming in Thursday from New Mexico and all we seem to do while they are here is eat! His sister makes the most delicious (calorie filled) Mexican food I've ever eaten. We only see them once a year, so I'm going to indulge but just moderately. Last time they were in town I think I gained 10 lbs . Wish me luck lol! I hope you ladies are having a good week so far!

First things first, sun you are so beautiful! I mean, whoa. That wedding must've been a blast!

stargzr, well, that does sound quite busy! Hopefully you do find time to relax this weekend .

fashin good work bringing it back. you'll be back down before you know it!

sotypical that is frustrating. A rant can be great catharsis. My completely unsolicited advice would be to forget about the last two months and move on. I've had the exact thing happen to me but I couldn't move on and ended up gaining 35 pounds back. Remind yourself why it matters to you and do it. Easier said than done, but well...it must be done.

I've got some good news... 150.8 this morning! I am SO hoping to see a number in the 140's this weekend! My reward is to buy some MUCH needed new running shoes... and I'm determined not to let my guilt of spending money get in the way. I've been working my *** off this week, burning any extra calorie I can to see that 4... still feels unreal!

Thanks guys, I just really needed to rant. I just am so frustrated with myself - for working at it the last 3 years and not really going anywhere. I think part of me is happy where I am, this is where I spent most of my life so it works for me. Honestly I have never seen the scale even lower - in fact my prom dress probably fits - if anything slightly big. Lots of people say they are scared to be skinner but I don't think that is problem. I just think this is a easy weight for me maintain.

I think I am going to start weighing once a week. That is going to be really hard for me but maybe it will help me to work harder. I will try it anyway. I also really need to count on the weekends, it is my own fault for screwing up and I know I just dont want to admit it. haha

tuende - congrats! so close to 140, you will see it anyday I bet.

Fashin - I have some family (I never see too!) coming at the end of the week too! I hope it wont be too bad, I might host an appy night at my house and at least I can put some veggies out... I just have to eat them! lol

About friggen time we got a damn goal. Now we just need two more. >> sorry watching a very depressing hockey game!
