To fit into all the extra small shirts and size 4 pants I have in bags from high school. I always thought I was fat then and while I wore clothes I liked there are so many things I thought I would look fat and gross in.
|
1. I realized that if I can't get in shape by 25, when will I ever get in shape? When I'm 30? o_O By then I'll have missed out on feeling care free and confident in my 20s.
2. I briefly worked a job where I had to commute far and work 10 hour days. I felt miserable because I had no desire to exercise and eat well. I switched jobs so I have more time, the gym at work is free, and the salad bar is tasty. No more excuses for miserable habits! 3. My boss is uber hot and single...and sits in the cube next to me >_> |
First it was a wedding that Im going to be in in 18 days..
Now its looking good for my college graduation in May. |

this. and 3 cheers for the times when you're thin and you dont have to worry about sucking in, holding in, tucking in and eating out |
-looking amazing at my graduation in May
-feeling like I'm not the fat chick in my group of friends -feeling better on the inside. I have my family's curse of IBS though mine's mild. If I work out on a daily basis, my IBS disappears. -the picture I have of me when I was 13, just before I ever started losing weight and also my heaviest ever. That picture motivates me to work my hardest and to NEVER go back to that weight or higher. -I'd rather just be pale at the beach than pale and fat. I have so many motivators...Just whatever makes me happy and feeling better about myself is a great motivator. |
For my boyfriend to be shocked the next time he sees me. Right now, I'm in Houston and he's in Dallas and so we don't get to see each other much. But by the next time we do see each other, I want him to be amazed.

When I don't have any motivation, I do it anyway. It's like going to school or work. Some days are great, some are just "eh" but you go regardless. A. |
A few different motivaters:
-the upcoming SUMMER -need to buy a whole new wardrobe--and who wants to buy a wardrobe full of fat clothes? -I've promised myself a few rewards if I reach my half-way point goal and my full goal. hmmm-yea. That'll do it! lol |

As for my motivation. I love seeing the number go down on the scale, I like buying new clothes. I like the *idea* of being small someday. |
Preparing for Pregnancy
and Brothers wedding in September |
I have three motivations (two small and one big)
-My brother is getting married (I gained more than 30lbs after my wedding in 2007 and I would like to get down to where I was for mine) -10 yr. class reunion and most importantly.... -I want to eat healthy, work out, and loose some weight before getting pregnant. I have been eating well since St Patrick's day, and I really do feel good! |
my modivation is to bring in 30 with a sexier body. shameless i know but i've been married since i was 21 i want to remind my hubby why he married me
|
I wanna be a size 3/4 or 4/5 or 5/6. Being able to wear so many cute clothes and it actually look the way I want on me is such a motivation for me.
|
Mine is my kids! I grew up with an obese mom and noticed (even if she didn't think we did) her not going swimming with us... or putting on shorts and playing with us in the summer... little things like that.
I don't want to spend my life so self conscious about my body that I don't let loose and have fun with them! I want to be healthy and have the energy to keep up, with a smile on my face :). |
-That look my husband gives me... I want to see it more often.
-I want to put on a bikini this summer and not be ashamed to take the towel off and walk to the pool/ocean. -I want to wear size 8 jeans! Right now I'm a 10/11 and I REALLY want that 8, dang it! :p -I want to look down and see my feet, lol. Not my belly. -I want to run faster and harder! Most of all, I want to be proud of how I look, what I eat, and how I carry myself. |
