10lbs down..what happen to the excitement??

Monday morning when I stood on that scale and saw that I hit my 10lbs goal I was excited....That day. Now I'm not happy with myself. I was looking in the mirror the other day and I feel like everything has turned to mush! LOL..Like a balloon..when its full everything looks firm (even if its round) then as the air lets out it starts to get smaller and wrinkly! My belly seems a little squishier (think thats spelled righ) then before and i've been sooooooo tired with work these past 2 weeks i'm lucky if I get any sleep let alone try to work out! *Sigh* next week will be better. This project with work will be finished and I will be able to focus on working out more. I lost 10lbs in about a month. In another month I will have another 10lbs down and I'll be a little firmer because i'll add working out back into this master plan to be skinny! (Pep talking myself) I know I can do this! 10lbs is a big thing to me..I don't remember the last time i was in the 20's and a couple more lbs and i'll be in the teens again! *looking off into the sky* size 12 here I come LOL! Ok i'm back! How are you ladies doing with your weight lost?

I'm trying not to weigh myself because I start playing mindgames with myself (hence why I deleted my ticker). But I had regained some weight and my pants were feeling a little tight. Now they're feeling more comfortable. Sooo I'm getting back on track :).

I feel you on finding the time to work out. I have two really big assignments that are due on April 2 (one is a final and the other counts for 20% of my grade). So I'm finding it hard to make time for the gym right now. Like I went twice last week instead of the 4 or 5 times I was hoping to. Hopefully after I get these two things done I'll have a little more time.

I think its great that you're staying positive! 10 lbs in one month is AMAZING!! I wish I could lose 10 lbs in one month! Keep up the amazing work!

I understand the lost excitement. So far, I have lost 17/18lbs, depending on the day it seems. I was so excited to reach 15, then almost 20. Like you, though, my body is nowhere near where I want it to be. I look in the mirror and still see the tummy...still have a roll I can grab. We have to just push through and focus on how far we have come in a short time.

I also struggle with a crazy schedule and working out. We are in the process of moving and are between homes, taking care of horses at one twice a day, adding two hours to my commute. When am I supposed to find that free hour?!?! The hubby has helped me out with the morning "shift" lately, allowing me time to walk our pups in the morning...there's 45 mins right there! He's also working an evening shift this week, so I won't feel as though I'm driving him nuts by using my Wii or doing some aerobics in the living room. We have to do what we can, when we can...anything is more than I was doing before!

Good luck, chicky!!!

I was supposed to work out 4 to 5 times a week also. I'm lucky if I worked out an entire week in the whole process.

Hey at least your getting in that 45 minute walk..thats better then nothing. 18lbs..thats great! I can't wait until I can say I've lost that much. Hopefully by monday my life will get back to normal and i'll be able to start working out and because dropping weight is great but it sucks when your not doing anything to tone the body!
