Default What to wear under workout clothes?

I'm just wondering what I should wear under my gym clothes. On the bottom, specifically. Obviously, sports bra on the top. I usually wear loose shorts, but they keep getting in the way and I want to get some leggings or those tight shorts lots of girls wear. My question: I see girls in these and they have no panty lines. Is everyone wearing thongs to workout in? This just seems really uncomfortable to me. I'm not a big thong fan.

So, what should I wear? What do you wear?

Boy leg cotton undies, and I probably have a noticeable VPL. Don't know, haven't looked, don't really care!

I wear addidas (i think) dry fit running pants. They're kinda like tight leggings but nicer xD I just wear normal underwear with them, im not a big workout in thong fan either. You cant really see a panty line unless you really scrutinise my butt. And then you'd get a black eye and wouldnt be seeing much of anything for a while ^_^

I wear a thong and it doesn't give me any problems while I'm working out. But I wear them on a regular basis anyway and I find them to be comfortable.

The only underwear I own are thongs so I just wear any regular thong. It wasn't uncomfortable for the longest time but now, since I haven't bought any new pairs since before I started losing, 80 pounds ago, they are kinda big and do get in the way lol. 20 more pounds or so and I can get some new ones!

I'm a big fan of Old Navy fold-over yoga capris for any type of workout. They're formfitting but lightweight and super comfy.

I used to wear loose shorts figuring they'd be cooler, but they'd always find a way to ride up when I was walking or working out on various machines. I don't have to worry about any of that in my yoga pants. I've also never had a problem with panty lines in them and just wear regular cotton undies underneath.

I've been wondering if some of the girls I see just go commando! I think I'd feel a little weird about that... Maybe I just need to find more comfortable thongs. I've never been a big fan, and VPL makes me feel really self-conscious. Or invest in some more expensive workout clothes rather than what I find off the sale rack at target.

Has anyone heard of Hanky Panky thongs? I've heard they're super comfortable, but expensive.

I really don't like thongs and I hate not wearing panties.
No lie, I just wear regular cotton panties, normally string bikini or boy shorts. I bought work-out pants from Old Navy and they are a little thicker than most; I don't think its all that visible. However, I honestly don't care at all. I'm sweating, bright red, typically with eyeliner smudged all around my eyes...a VPL is the last thing I worry about.

You can buy microfiber panties from brands like Jocky that have a no-panty line promise or just wear lace with very little seaming.

I just wear my regular underwear.

If somebody is taking the time to examine my *ss for a panty line and then inwardly judge me probably needs to up the intensity of their workout.

I'm another one for just wearing sturdy, good ol' fashioned regular undies No g-strings for me! I find them intensely uncomfortable and the last thing I want while running, sweating, huffing and puffing with makeup running everywhere and hair plastered to my icky red face is to be picking a piece of string out of my butt crack evey 20 seconds :P

I wear bike shorts generally in the summer which are of course, skin tight. I am quite sure my undies line shows, I really don't care. If anyone is checking out my arse then they sure aren't doing as much working out as they should be!

Wear what you're comfortable in. Working out isn't a fashion parade lol.

I wear regular underwear, then some tight bicycle shorts with regular wind shorts over it. Or I wear yoga pants. I don't really care about panty lines. If someone was actually going to call me out on it in the gym, they'd have more to worry about than their own workout
