I'm Back!

  • So, in 2009 I lost 40lbs from March to September...
    October 1st I lost my job very unexpectedly... and since then I've gained it ALL back.
    3FC was a great tool the first time, so here it goes again!
    I've been in a new job for about a month now and I really enjoy it. I'm getting my mojo (for lack of a better word) back! I'm ready to get off my butt and get my life back.
    It just kills me to look at pictures from just last summer... I was SO happy - I looked great and FELT great. I want that back!
    I just signed up for a beginning runner clinic that starts March 1.. I've never ran more than a minute or two at a time so this should be interesting.

  • From June-September 2006 I lost 30 lbs. I put it all back on by March 2007 and haven't done anything about it since. My plan was that 2010 would be my year to make huge changes and make a big difference to my weight.

    Things haven't worked out exactly as planned. The number on the scale is going down, but at quite a slow pace, and I keep having naughty weekends where I throw my efforts down the drain.

    However, I have recently started running and have entered myself into some local runs in the coming months - 5km in March and 10km in May - so I must keep up the good work and get my fitness to where it needs to be. I know I can complete 5km, but whether I'm running/walking/jogging or whatever depends on how focussed I am in the next 4 weeks!
