210.5 today. My scale couldn't make up its mind at first- it went everywhere from 209-215. I just kept stepping off and back on until it can to a decision. It displayed 210.5 three times in a row, so I took it.

Kaelah it seems our scales are in cahoots together! Mine couldn't make up its mind either. First it was 204 lbs then 202.5, and finally 201 lbs.
Its frustrating because I don't know if I should believe that 201 lbs.
Still I am taking it untill proven otherwise.

YAYY!!

I think I need a new scale or at least a new battery for this one. It cannot seem to make up its mind! I can't afford a new one just yet, so it'll have to wait until August. Anyway, I got anything from 211 to 205.5 (!!!) this morning, but it seemed to settle on 209.5 so that's what I took. Getting closer to Onederland!!

Yesterday was interesting, I ended up stuffiing my face but still staying in my daily calorie range so I don't feel too bad. BUT this morning when I went to boot camp I felt so sick from basically gorging myself, which I have to admit made me feel pretty good.

I don't know what it is, probably the fact that I used to be able to eat a massive amount and now I just can't physically eat like that, but knowing that I felt like that when I ate just barely over what I normally does will really help keep myself from binging. Which is a great step in the right direction for me.

audrina, that's an awesome step!!

I did the first day of C25K and I am HURTING. It's muscles, but it's also a lot of joint pain. It was TOUGH!! I might actually need to take a rest day tomorrow instead of doing a video or going for a walk like I was planning on doing. It depends how my body feels tomorrow, I guess.

Which joints are bothering you? Your knees?

Are you running somewhere with an incline so at some point your running down hill? How old are your running shoes? They should be no more than six months old as at about 6 months they break down, this is ESSENTIAL if you're going to be jogging.

Are you icing them now? Do that for sure and take an antiinflammatory.

I have a bad back, and I can't do anything that is high impact [most running, power skipping, jumping, etc] so it was really important that when I started running I did so with the proper form, and it helped me avoid knee pain. When you're running be sure not to throw your feet down onto the ground, gently place them down, even if it means slowing down your jog a bit -- once you're body gets used to the impact and you improve you'll be able to pick up the pace.

Also, you may want to consider doing some thigh strengthening exercises along with the program you're doing.

[I also have a torn meniscuis, which is in your knee so I have to be very careful not to hurt my knee while jogging which I probably shouldn't do anyway and these are the things I've done to keep it in check, I hope they help you!]
