20 somethings with thyroid problems?
 

Anyone else? I feel like I'm too young for this! I know I'm not but still ...
I have a goiter and am hypothyroid. I don't take my medication like I'm supposed to ... as in I'll take it for a few months then I'll decide to just stop taking it. So I haven't been taking it for at least 6-9 months.

Part of the problem is that I don't like my doctors instructions ... she wanted me to cut those tiny pills in half and then some days take 3 halves and some days take 2 ... and that's just really annoying and made me become non compliant and just stop taking it all together.

Also I don't see an immediate benefit from taking it ... I don't feel any different day to day whether I take it or not.

BUT today I got a new insurance through my work and there is a new doctor that is now covered that wasn't covered before (there are only like 4 Endos around here). So I made an appointment, it's not until March 19th but I thought maybe if I start over with a new doctor things might go better this time. :dizzy:
