breaking up is hard to do...
 

So late yesterday afternoon I broke up with my LONG time boyfriend, Mr. Mt Dew. He didn't want to admit that it was over,and it's true I still love him...but our relationship was toxic:barf: It had gone on for an embarrassing long time, co-dependence was at it's highest. I'll miss you Mr. Dew but this is goodbye:crossed:

For a few minutes there, I was thinking "That's a funny thing to call your boyfriend..."

Kudos to you for kickin' the habit! I haven't had any pop (diet or otherwise) in 23+ days. I tried to take a sip of diet coke the other day and thought my throat was on fire. BLECH!

Glad I'm not the only one who was confused!

lol, same here I'm giving up almost all drinks (and def. soft drinks) that contain calories :) except the occassional soymilk/teas of course...but even thats limited...its h20...

Im sorry to hear that but if it wasnt working yove done the right and healthy thing to do. It must be painful after being toghther so long. I dont know what i would do if my relationship came to that its my biggest fear.
But i think if ya have done it on good terms and been honest im sure yas have a great friendship ahead ;) to the future:hug:

I really need to break up with my Mr. Coke Zero.....he has to be a loser if he has ZERO in his name. We only see each other every few days but he's so addictive and hard to let go of. :-(.

hahahaha I thought you were seriously breaking up with a person...lol...I need to break up with my boyfriend but everytime I try, he gets upset, and I cave. At this rate, I'll be marrying him so I don't hurt the guys' feelings....I really hope not.

I broke up with him on the 1st of the year. And all other Mr. Soda's but Dew was favorite!

I'm still trying to kick my pepsi habit, I've switched to ginger ale and only have one pop a day, not 3 to 5. =[ Help i'm addicted to the burn the pop gives when you chug it down.

whoa whoa.... I just broke up with Dew last week...I wasn't aware he was seeing anyone else...we're better off without him I'm sure.

Hahaha, I have to admit I was confused at first, too. I had to read everyone's replies until it hit me. I feel kind of silly. Lol!
