So far I have been able to say no or direct them to a place where I know I can make good choices. It will be a struggle that I will always have to deal with. Following any specific plan: I count calories...kind of. I know that I end up between 1500-1800 calories a day, but I don't write it down. I have done the counting calories thing so many times in the past, I am good at keeping track of it. What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: I have never really gotten on the exercise bandwagon. I had excuses up the butt for why I didn't want to get out and move. I lost about 60lbs before through just diet and some light walking, but this time around I have really motivated myself to get moving. So far this is making a huge difference because I view "cheating" as all of my hard work on the stairmaster or eliptical as being wasted. Plus, I love being sore and feeling my body really changing (even if the scale isnt moving).....I was stretching after my workout today and my calf muscles have already changed dramatically. I feel like I'm working my body from both ends. I can't see the muscle underneath the fat, but eventually the two aspects working together (eating less and working out) will result in an entire new body being revealed as the fat melts off. Yay! |

I had always carried my weight well and I still do no one believes I wear a 20 but those are getting tight and I refuse to buy bigger! I was around 225 since I moved to Oklahoma my Freshman Year in High School. But 3 knee surgeries and a lower lumbar fusion later I've gained quite a bit and it's time to lose so I can steal my 17 year old sisters cute cloths. |
