That's like, the rudest thing I think I've ever heard. Even if he felt that way, why would he tell her? What could have possibly warranted him saying that to her? I feel bad for your friend...that hurt my feelings for her.

I hope she doesn't continue to make herself available to him in any way.

ThicknPretty- i know right, u wouldn't tell that to any girl even if felt like that period. me neither that would be wasting her time.

I would tell her to just walk away. Don't let her make the mistake of trying to get him to understand her feelings, because he'll interpret it as an attack and just get meaner. She may be hanging on to him because she's known him for so long and is afraid to venture out to find new people who could potentially reject her like he did.

Of course "a part of him likes her." What guy wouldn't like a girl who defends him no matter how big of an a** he is? He uses her to pick up his own self esteem when no other girls will give him a second look.

Unfortunately, it's useless to tell her this. The more you bash him, the harder she'll try to justify him. The best you can do is nod your head and smile and, when you get tired of the whining, say you're sorry but prior engagements prevent you from attending any more of her pity parties.
