Fashin and 5factor - congrats on those interviews and good luck! You will both be fine

Sotypical - Yay for you! I am in awe that you have been working so hard and being so patient for 3 years! I am the kind of person that tries hard for a few weeks and if I don't get the results I want, I give up. You are an inspiration! Congrats!

So I decided to just bite the bullet and go back to what I know for sure works for me--counting. I'm going to start with counting points for now and maybe switch over to calories later, but I know that WW works for me, so I'm just going to suck it up and do it. I bought a new planner where I can track all of my points and exercise. I give myself stickers for staying on points and working out, when I get a certain number of stickers, I get a reward. Usually I do better if I make the counting at least appear to be fun For the first time in a while I feel confident I will see a loss on the scale tomorrow. I'm hoping and praying it will be a good one!

stargzr Way to go on throwing out all the bad stuff! 154 will be here in no time. I know I am not doing too well, but I am down 2 lbs from my gain and I am not going up. I think my body is still processing out the junk of those two weeks.

fashinjunkie09 Oh I hope it all goes well for your job! Good luck!

Paja
hmmmm tacos and avacado. A match made in heaven.

5factorgirl oh I know how hard it is when people come from out of twon or when you are out of town. Just dust yourself off and keep going.

sotypical way to go~! I hope this is a downhill battle from now on for you! What a relief it must have been seeing that number on the scale

Yelie good choice and just be extra careful in the day so you have extra calories Sounds like so much fun (jealous) I love board games and only have one friend who likes to play over here so we end up playing scrabble mostly. My hubby hates it!

Hot4Teacher23 I hope your scale shows a good loss tomorrow! I HAVE to count calories in order to loose or I mess up royally. I can maintain just fine though, plus you burn more when you are skinnier and have more muscle. right now though its all about counting!

Okay ladies I am packing up the odds and ends and cleaning the house for my trip. Sunday is almost here!!!!!!! So excited and can't wait to just get there. Right now I am going through freak outs about forgetting something. I always get like this. Hope you all have a fun weekend!

Hot4Teacher23 - you totally sound like me! I am just the oppisite though, counting calories works for me where as weight watchers didn't! But I too used to use sickers on a calendar for days I did good! haha, I should totally do that again! For right now I decided that everyday friday I lose weight - doesn't matter how little, I am going to put $10 in a seperate savings account. And I can use that money for whatever I want, new perfume, pants or something. Probably as I get closer to goal I will bump it up to $20.

Hey everyone! I'm back!

159 still, but I can't complain. Dessert every day - we were on the Disney Dining Plan. It was INCREDIBLE - so much fun.

I need to drop this weight though. I made plans to see a friend I haven't seen in 7 years in August, so now that's my goal. 130 by August 12th :-) It shouldn't be too hard...I hope! That's higher than my "normal" adult weight, so I'm really hoping my metabolism jump starts and helps me out here.

5factorgirl, thanks and good luck on your interview as well they can be so nerve racking! And im sorry things aren't going great diet wise but at least there's no gain which is more than I can say!

Welcome sotypical, it's great to see you here!! I also spent years in the 160's so I know how exciting it is to finally get here!

stargzr, I'm sorry you had a bad binge but at least you took action afterward and got rid of all the temptation! I hope you had a good Easter! We just hung out with family and took our 17 month old to an Easter egg hunt at his Auntie's house it was pretty cute.

yellie, ooh fondue! Lol I love fondue but your right with delicious fruit you won't even miss the chocolate at all good luck and have fun!

Hot, thanks! And good for you for realizing what works for you and trying to make it enjoyable. I'm a numbers gal so I love seeing if I can stay within my calorie range everyday but your reward system sounds great I think I will try that! Good luck with your WI keep us updated I'm sure it'll go great!

sun, have fun I'm sure you didn't forget anything!!

Valentine, welcome back! And great job on maintaining that is a huge accomplishment! And you can def lose alot in 5 months by the time you see your friend, good luck!

Tia, you are very close you won't be here much longer at all!

Well... I got the job! I am very excited but it's kind of funny because I still don't know what position yet they're supposed to let me know tomorrow but they said they def want me so I'm very excited! It's between a payroll, tax, or banking position and I'm hoping for either tax or banking (no customer service, I'm tired of people! Lol) but either way I'll be happy! As for my diet it has not went well this weekend and the scale is really reflecting it. Friday was a celebration for my new job, Saturday was my mom's birthday and today was Easter so my weekend was filled with food and alcohol. I'm not very happy with myself for going so crazy but I'm getting back on track tomorrow and will hopefully be back down by next weeks official WI. Hope you all had a wonderful Easter weekend!

Morning Ladies,

nicole - Good to see you back... and without a gain! Congrats! I think you've nailed maintenance!

fashin - I'm so happy for you getting the job, that's fantastic news! I hope it's a position you want. Aww and Happy Easter!

sun - Hope you have fun on your trip!!

I didn't do well yesterday, too many temptations sitting out all day at the in-laws... I ate lots of my calories in the form of sugar and my belly looks bloated today. I know I can get rid of it, so I guess I'm not too worried, but I am a little disappointed in myself... I guess the power went out at my house last night so I woke up with 10 mins to get out the door to work this morning. =/ I didn't weigh so I don't know how bad the damage is yet. I do know that yesterday I came in at 156 but I know that was water retention.

Oh small NSV - This weekend I found out that I weigh as much as my sister (she's always been super tiny, stick figure like at 5'4", lol), granted she's pregnant... but still. This is the only time in our lives that I will weigh the same as her! Then I found out I weigh the same as my sister-in-law, who is 5'5". She had her baby about 6 months ago and is now working to lose the baby weight, but this will also be the only time I will be able to say that!

fashin - congrats on the new job!

The scale was back into the 160's this am - only 160.4, it will be right back down I know but still mad haha. I was totally good this weekend - but my weekend calories are usually higher, so Monday's morning usually reflects that. As long as it is back down for Friday. I am actually surprised how good I did this weekend. One of the best ones in a long time... partly because I wasn't see 150's again this coming Friday!

This coming weekend could be bad... the boyfriend are I got a cabin on the beach in Tofino, BC. Beautiful up there - and a romantic cabin with a hot tub and a Jacuzzi... wine anyone? You get free breakfast in the mornings, we will go for dinner one night - but the rest of the time we hope to cook healthy meals in the cabin. I am really looking forward to it. I just hope it doesn't make me get back into the 160's.

Courtnie congrats! So glad you got out of the rut! That's awesome.

Sorry in a bit of a hurry today but wanted to say I gained Yikes. Up to 152.4. But it has been a rough couple of days and was expecting it. So day back onto the strict diet and I know I will improve!

TTYL!

Thanks Star and Fashin! I'm glad to be back - and that I maintained! I hate not weighing in; I actually was pretty worried I'd get back and see 165 or something. We did walk all day, every day though!

Fashin, Congrats on the job!!!

Sotypical, that sounds FANTASTIC. Seriously, it sounds incredible.

5factor, I'll be wishing you luck that that weight just drops off soon! I'm sure it will.

I may have a bit too much sodium the next few days. I'm not going grocery shopping until my new Le Creuset (!!!!) gets here, LOL, which should be soon! But until then I'm living on frozen veggies, canned beans, rice, frozen meals, and whatever else I have, LOL. I want the freshest possible ingredients - and fridge space - for my new dutch oven :-D

I totally forgot to say I went shopping this weekend and it was so awesome. My boyfriend told me I should try and dress a little nicer for work. I don't dress bad, I dress better then a lot of people here. But he thinks I should like wear heals and all that. So I thought I would give it a go so I did some shopping and picked up a few things for AWESOME prices. Every shirt I bought was a large and even one medium! I have been wearing larges for a while, but I find sometimes I still often have to get XL - I almost bought all mediums but some were just a tad snug and shouldn't have been. It nice that I didn't even have to try on the XLs.

Anyway, it was so awesome so find good deals. Got 4 NICE tops all less then $10 each. Also got some new perfume (for free, had this stamp card thing) - and a couple accessories so I am feeling pretty good. The store I ran into last night had 50% off clearance, I only had about 15 min so I hope to run in there again tonight if the sale is still one.

Funny how new clothes can make you feel good, especially when they were cheap! haha

stargzr, thank you! And lol congrats on the NSV! And it's probably for the best that you didn't weigh this morning you know it's just water weight and it'll be gone in no time! I had way too much sugar this weekend too, and I saw we're both doing the one week sugar detox and I think we'll feel much better after!

sotypical, congrats on having a good weekend you'll be back in the 150's tomorrow I'm sure! And that romantic cabin sounds amazing I've always wanted to go to BC I've heard it's gorgeous have fun! Oh and that's awesome about all the clothes I love shopping and am also getting to go before I start my new job I can't wait I hope I find some deals as good as yours!

5factorgirl, I know how you feel about being up on the scale but you are doing great!

Nicole, don't worry about the sodium just drink alot of water and you'll be fine it'll be worth it when you get your new Dutch oven!

Thanks yellie! And wow 150.6 you'll be out of here next week if not sooner!!

I found out for sure the position I'm getting is the tax specialist and I'm super excited! I had to put my two weeks in today, though and I feel kind of bad but luckily my boss is very supportive and understanding. Hope you ladies are having a good Monday so far!

sotypical - Awesome on the clothes! I keep putting off buying new ones, but I should really take your cue. Have a good time on your romantic getaway!

nicole - I second fashin, just up your water and you'll be golden.

yelie - Wow! Hooray on the 150.something! You'll be outta here super soon!

fashin - That's so great you're getting a position you want! How exciting!!! I'm sure you'll do great and hopefully you get a chance to shop some!! I sure hope the sugar detox helps us out!

miss - Congrats! You're over halfway through the 150s!

I decided beforehand that whatever the scale said this morning, I would own up to it. So verdict is: 158 (YIKES!) I'm not happy, but it'll really help me stick to my workouts this week and make them all count. I will see 154 on Friday! I WILL! lol
