Where do we carry most of our weight?

Where do we carry most of our weight upper or lower body....

I carry me at my upper body ( chest, arms).

Iconised Ghost 12-06-2009 04:18 PM

i would say my middle- stomach >:|

Gracie789 12-06-2009 04:21 PM

it depends on the individual. right now my middle is carrying the most weight, followed closely by my thighs, lol.

LiL PiXiE 12-06-2009 04:21 PM

I'm with Iconised Ghost...all in my belly, nice stretchy saggy stomach...blah!!!

LittleMoonRabbit 12-06-2009 04:22 PM

all in my thighs and bum at this point!

LBLAZY 12-06-2009 04:26 PM

Definitely the lower body for me...including stomach. My love handles are the worst followed by my stomach, then thighs....My top half isn't quite as bad, thanks to being a member of the IBTC. ;)

same

JulieJ08 12-06-2009 04:28 PM

Mostly in my thighs, but also my calves and less so belly (a lot more so when I'm not eating well or exercising!). I have wide hips but a flat butt - so I guess I carry weight there, but it doesn't give me a nice booty just a wide load ;) My arms are largish, but that's more because they're more naturally muscular than because of fat.

It took getting to my higher weights to lose my waist - but it happened eventually.

redliss7 12-06-2009 04:28 PM

well, I guess I got kind of lucky. I tend to carry my weight anywhere that isn't my stomach or hips. That might be though because I'm hella long waisted. Bad part of this is that I'm a straight figure and don't get the curvaceous awesome that most 14 yearolds can pull off. The good and the bad.

angee phalangee 12-06-2009 04:36 PM

I carry my weight incredibly evenly. I can't pick one part that's heavier than another. Calves, thighs, butt, hips, tummy, chest, arms, face, chins (all of them)...heck, even my feet are chubby. lol

forestroad 12-06-2009 05:10 PM

I carry it mostly on my upper thighs and lower abdomen, like an inner tube. Yet I still have a flat butt :(

dangerousfish 12-06-2009 05:26 PM

Mostly in the gut, like a thick tube around and above my belly button (my belly button actually overhangs my lower abdominal area, a bit. My waist is bigger than my hips and my ("man") shoulders are a smig wider than my hips, and the first place I lose is my boobs (I only ever made it to a large C, even at 270 and I'm back in a B) -- it makes for an interesting look on a female body. I have a small fat deposit at the top of my inner thighs but no saddle bags or really any large fat deposits on my legs. Finding clothes can be hard. (Not that it isn't for everyone!)

arumaru 12-06-2009 05:57 PM

I carry the most weight on my hips, thighs and butt. My body is becoming more hourglass shaped now that I'm losing weight. Before it used to be more pear shaped, and I had a less defined waist. I always managed to have a waist though, even at my hugest. It's crazy. I never carried a lot of weight around my stomach, which I'm thankful for. I do have big fat arms and I absolutely HATE them. I hope I don't loose my boobs. They are a D, which isn't big for my size but I'm hoping they'll stay a C-D.

Same here, I have always been made fun of for being part of the IBTC haha! My arms are pretty big too.

smisen 12-06-2009 07:45 PM

Thunder thighs represent!!!

stellarosa27 12-06-2009 07:54 PM

It took me way to long to get IBTC.

Mine is distributed, but most of it is on the stomach, butt, thighs.

Stylist83 12-06-2009 09:21 PM

and how do we get rid of this stomach..I seem to have lost everywhere but here.."the problem spot" Uck!

saef 12-06-2009 09:32 PM

I voted for "lower body," but wondered if I ought to have chosen "other." My stomach is flattening out but my upper thighs and my calves haven't changed a lot. After losing over 100 pounds, I still have trouble zipping up my 8W boots over my calves when I'm premenstrual.

QTestRDH 12-06-2009 09:50 PM

Ugh, I carry mine on my lower stomach, that lovely pooch we can never get rid of :) ..and my hips and thighs.

Mickeypnd 12-06-2009 11:56 PM

Im in the upper body. bigger bust, and I have a very round tummy, Im an apple/hourglass shape.

Phoenix301 12-07-2009 12:50 AM

I definitely carry most of my weight on my lower half - my stomach, love handles and thighs. Otherwise on my upper arms and back.

redlight 12-07-2009 01:28 AM

When I was heavier, my excess weight was mainly above my waist. I'm more even now.

Supa 12-07-2009 03:44 AM

Chest and belly... :(

me too... my second most is my inner thighz

I'm fat all over, but I'd say my biggest problem is my stomach. I've always envied girls who can be overweight and still have a flat tummy, I have to have a BMI of 20 and do tons of crunches to get there and still it won't get completely flat :(

mkendrick 12-07-2009 08:16 AM

I have a fairly decent layer of fat on my whole body, but the spot that bugs me the most is my stomach. I have a pooch to be reckoned with. I don't think it's in my genes to have a perfect tummy though, unfortunately.

Now that I've lost 11lbs, I kept looking in the mirror waiting for my stomach to shrink, and I couldn't figure out why it wasn't. But when I examined the rest of my body, I've shrunk in other areas. Which is good, but I wish I could spot treat my stomach, lol.

boardchick 12-07-2009 08:24 AM

Stomach!! It looks like a beer-belly!!! :(

stargzr 12-07-2009 10:31 AM

I had to answer with 'other' - I gain and lose pretty evenly.

jennsreadytolose 12-07-2009 11:03 AM

Definitely lower half. Huge calves and thighs, the areas I obsess over the most.

cabinwife 12-07-2009 12:36 PM

Thighs, hips, stomach...in that order

forestroad 12-07-2009 01:00 PM

I need to join the chorus of stomach pooch girls, lol. My mom has the same pooch, and she's 5'7" and 118lbs. She's forever trying to get rid of it, and I keep trying to explain to her that that's just genetically where we store our essential body fat, so it's not going to go away, unless we literally starve ourselves down to an unhealthy level of body fat.

megwini 12-07-2009 01:57 PM

Now that I'm at a normal BMI, all my bad excess fat is in my lower abdomen. It's pretty darn collected. My thighs are a little big too, but not too bad. It's pretty much just my lower abdomen, which is WAY bigger than you'd expect from someone my weight. A bikini is not even in the question... my stomach'd just hang over the bottom part and make me look fat! :o

HeatherMcG 12-07-2009 05:13 PM

VERY round belly... and the dreaded bottom belly. My butt, arms, legs are all normal. Now, if I could only get rid of this middle!

Air81 12-07-2009 07:57 PM

I carry it mostly in my core or trunk. I have very muscular legs VERY and my face is chubby and my arms are okay. I have no butt to speak of and all this adds up to finding pants is very difficult! Somehow clothes that fit my wait never (Including Lane Bryant) fit my legs. I need bigger legs :)

Tried on skinny jeans for the first time though at Kohls yesterday and WOW they looked amazing! Might need to invest in those.

I'm envious too. I have a friend who is a little overweight but has a stomach flatter than mine. The flip side is that she's envious of my full boobs and small behind.
