lose 10 pounds by new years day. strength train 4x a week. run 3x a week. keep a food log. DRINK WATER!!!!

Dec 1: 12 minute morning yoga. ran .5 miles @6 mph walked 1.5 miles @3.6 mph 50 hanging crunches. 20 min pilates.

My goal is to reach 135 lbs! Last month was rough because of finals. I'm really hoping to go back to getting exercise 3x/week over break

My goal this month is to workout for a least an hour at least 4 days a week.
My weight by Dec 31st= anywhere in the 180's(ideally 185)

Week 1
Nov 30: 3 mile walk
Dec 1: rest
Dec 2:20 mins elliptical, 30 mins lifting, 20 mins walking on the treadmill.
Dec 3: unintentional rest day :-(
Dec 4: 25 mins on treadmill, 20 min on the bike.
Dec 5: rest
Dec 6: 40 min on treadmill, 1 hour Zumba class

Dec 8: 30 mins lifting

Hello all. I'm READY for this challenge!

* attend one class a week minimum
* 45 minute minimum work out 4-5 days a week
* keep my weight loss consistent in the 4th month by losing 8-10lbs.

I am just starting out, and I think I am going to begin by making it a goal to drink mostly water through December (by mostly I mean with tea, milk, and only certain juices as my other options,) I am going to allow myself to have Chai tea as an occasional treat, because I think we all need some wiggle room to indulge. I am also going to make it a goal to do an hour of Wii Sports or one of my other more physical games (since I don't have the other exercise games) 3 days a week to start. I hope to lose 5 pounds by New Years.


Update: I smashed my 5 pound goal, probably mostly from water but still.. so i am going to change my goal to 10 pounds. I'm already almost there! Also going to include some other activities for exercise because realized wii sports only gets you so far..i dont have a balance board or the wii fit program etc.

So I guess I'm jumping on for week 2!

My goals for December are:
1. be active every single day, whether that is at the gym working out, or putting up decorations!
2. drink 8 glasses of water every day
3. limit holiday sweets to 3 servings a week (and not all on the same day!!!!)
4. strength training of some type 3 times a week


Week 2: Starting at 182.5 lbs
Dec 6: 60 min zumba class, 20 min treadmill, 15 min bike
Dec 7: 30 min strength rotation, 35 min treadmill, 15 min bike
Dec 8: 35 min elliptical, 15 min bike
Dec 9: 60 min 24set class, 30 min treadmill, 15 min bike
Dec 10: 60 min zumba class and a ton of cleaning
Dec 11: 30 min strength rotation, 30 min treadmill, 15 min bike
Dec 12: rest day / canoe
Total mins for Week 2: 465

Week 3: 181.5, loss of 1 lb!
