Today I weighed in at 142.6! And then this morning a guy I work with said "Tanya, you're getting thin". I was over the moon! It's nice to know other people can notice a difference.

bablou- Congrats on getting to the 130's! The burlesque classes are really fun. And after just one class I already feel like I have more confidence and feel a little sexier. If you can find a class I would really suggest taking it.

Thanks Ladies!!! I was thinking it was a fluke but Im still 139 today..lol!!

LisaTcan: This might be a long one so bear with me...lol!! I started to really focus on my weight and diet around Nov 1st. Before that I was anywhere between 153-150 running 4-6miles a day not lifting any weights and eating whatever. So I wasnt really losing anything. Then Octoberish I started coming down to the high 40's. So I was browsing around on the internet looking for a quick fix to get weight off of me (arent we all) and ran across a thread about Chalean Extreme. So I looked it up on here and another forum I belong to and read about how everyone was getting great results and that it was like P90x but shorter workouts. So I decided to give it a try! I didnt really like the meal plans she had set out in her book so I just decided to start tracking my calories with thedailyplate.com. I started all this on Nov 1st and I was right around 147-148 at the time. The first month with Chalean I lost 4lbs and 7inches. I dont measure for this month until this Sunday but so far I have lost 5lbs with the 2nd Phase. I do her cardio provided plus I add my own on weight lifting days. I do HIIT training for 20-30mins on my treadmill where I walk for a min and sprint at 9-10mph for 30-45secs. I still run 6miles when I can and thats mostly a wknd thing when its not below zero here...lol!!
As far as diet Im just focusing on lowering my sodium and the only other thing I really had to cut out ( a little) is the alcohol. I work nights at the hospital so that right there already messes up my body and previously to tracking my meals I wasnt eating enough so my metabolism was slow slow slow. Ive always had a fast metabolism so I think the last couple of months Ive been able to turn that around and thats why Im seeing such fast results. I do believe Chalean Extreme has done wonders for my body and I plan on starting a second round in March. Hope that helps I know its a lot of info but thats pretty much what Ive been doing the last 2months.

Well, I gave up on not weighing myself haha! I need the motivation!

Tuesday I weighed in at 151! EEK. But, yesterday I was at 149.2, and today was 148.8

I just need out of these high 140's! I want to be below 145 so bad, I've been going to the gym and eating pretty well every day this week so hopefully I'll be seeing some lower numbers soon...

Bablou I'll let you know how the dancing work outs go. So far they seem great. And congrats, girl! 139 is awesome!

I'm back down to 143.6. Which is good. And I have a feeling 142 is around there somewhere. I've been on my feet all day at work (8:30 to 5 or 7 most days) and I can just feel how swollen my legs are. It's hard to drink enough water at work, so I haven't really been able to cut the bloat. Hopefully this weekend I can change that.

bablou00 Thanks that was helpful!! I thought you had a pretty solid workout plan. I'm doing great in the diet department but I havent been working out enough. I know that's what I need to do if I want to get into the best shape I can. Good for you

I'm still at 145 but I went out for dinner last night as had two glasses of wine..so I'm happy with that!

Good morning ladies.....

Well after the crazy hollidays , I had been on track since last saturday follow my WW plan and keeping an eye on my carbs .... It is realy working . I was 150.2 las saturday (146.2 before hollidays) And today I was 144.4 .... I step on the scale like 20 times I even went walk a little and the come back again 144.4 still there ...I saw 145 just 1 time so I will count it as my today weight .... and let see what the scale say for me tomorrow for my WI......

wfonseca, I do the same thing. I step on the scale at least three times, usually much more before I'm convinced it's right. Congrats on getting below holidya weight.

This morning I'm down to a solid 142.6. Finally broke out of the 143 madness I was going through. I'm sure I'll see 143 a few more times before it's gone for good, but at least I'm heading in the right direction.

grr it is that time on the month so I'm guessing i am about 148...or I at least feel at least that much...the lowest I've gotten since I've started this journey is 140.8..and usually stay around 143-145. I cannot break the 140's!!! it drives me crazy but there ain't no alternative sooo just gotta keep going, going, going.

I am down to around 144.8 pounds, only down 0.2 pounds from my lowest weight before xmas, but down around 2kg from my post xmas weigh in

Great to see everybodies updates.. and that everybody is getting back to their routine/weight loss path after the holidays... I had my official WI last week at 140... it was such a relief.. I think I was very bloated from carbs and salty foods from the holidays.. I only gained 4lbs in the holidays... i thought the damage was way worse... This week I've gotten back on the routine, but my weekend was not how I would have like it. I'm not really expecting to see a loss this week, coming back to my workouts has felt great...

off topic here but I LOVE your username...Unbearable Lightness of being is one of my favorite books! haha just had to put that out there AND I sadly report that it IS almost the end of my time of the month and after cardio today at the gym I weighed myself on their scale and am...147.5. to be honest though, I moved and left my scale at my mom's so with tennishoes and sweatpants, etc. I was 147...I figure I'm like 145. To be honest, i've been eating crap estimating my calorie intake to be 1800-2100...for the past two days i've cut down to 1200-1300 and logging EVERYTHING...I'm actually eating when I am hungry and not having dessert after every meal snacking on broccoli between meals and drinking more water...night time sucks but I think I am going to plan ahead and save 100 calories so i can drink a caesin protein shake right before bedtime to allow me to sleep a full 7-8 hrs...slow digesting protein is supposed to burn fat during sleep....and if i am still in deficit i can do it before bed. i just need to find a way to make a lifestyle change that works for me! ugg. off to work i go.

TOM sucks!!! Good work on being down EVERYONE! We're all doing really well.

I'm down to 143.6..pretty much my prechristmas weight finally! My goal is to be at 139 by Valentines Day. As of now I don't have a date for it..but there is a new guy that looks promising!
