I've been gone for a long time, and I need to get back on the horse.
I don't like to make excuses, but the end of the school year = busy time for me (as a school psychologist). After the end of the school year, I had family visit, then I moved, then suddenly it was the start of the school year (busy again!). Now it's October and I have gained weight. Not sure how much - I haven't gotten on a scale in a while (scared - I KNOW there has been significant gain). So I'm back. I'm focusing on this. I need a new schedule for exercise, new diet/food ideas, etc. So basically, I'm starting from scratch.
Negatives: I no longer live in an apartment complex with a gym. I no longer live 5 minutes from work, I drive 45 min each way so I lose a lot of my "free time" for exercise.
Positives: I no longer have to make an effort to go for a hike, or go skiing. Hiking is literally right outside my door, and skiing is a short 8 minute drive away...just have to wait for the slopes to open for the season.
So how do I start? What can I do? My BF lives with me, and is one of those eat McDonald's 5x/wk and whatever else he wants and won't ever gain an ounce. Me, I have a salad and have to worry about type/amount of dressing.
I need help. I need encouragement. Tell me what to do!!

And pack a whole lot of hym stuff in your car! Depending on the kind of school you work at, maybe you can use their gym? And lunch packing will have to be very careful
