Sexy Miss Red Riding Hood! I like it! :D

I may be in the same boat with the skirt, I'm not a huuuge fan of my huuuuge thighs... I bought a frilly white petticoat to go underneath the skirt, but... I don't think that'll help much. One way or the other, I always wear black bike shorts underneath all my skirts because my thighs touch when I walk and it gets uncomfortable. :( I'm supposed to get my costume today, I'll take a pic if I do! :D

Congrats on your losses ladies!
I myself am... dum-dum-dum-dum!!! Down to 142.0 this morning! I haven't even been perfect eating-wise, but I was sure my body was hanging on desperately to some of that water weight from all the garbage food I've been eating lately. I was PRETTY good yesterday, only gettin in about 1,400 calories. I'm gonna keep givin'er, and try to get down to my next mini-goal for Halloween.... oh man. Back in the 130s. I can't even imagine, it's been so long...!

Morning ladies!!! I *try* not to hop on the scale too much. I was a little disappointed last week with a 2 lb loss, but I hopped on thes scale this morning (post TOM) and am down to 203. That's down 3 lbs from Monday and down 5lbs in a week and a half! Offical weigh in won't be until Monday so I'm hoping I can it down the remainder of the week! :)

DivineFidelity 10-14-2009 11:33 AM

aww thanks everyone. =D

So I'm not SUPPOSED to weigh in until saturday morning, but I was curious so this morning I hopped on the scale. I was 211.0 last friday morning, and I'm now 210.3. I guess that's okay...I haven't even lost a whole pound, but I spent last weekend in Huntsville with my boyfriend and didn't really stay OP. I think if I stay OP for the rest of the week, I'll be okay.

I doubt I'm going to have lost 10 lbs before halloween....but like I said, I fit my costume, so I don't really care. As long as I'm losing, not gaining, then I'm happy. =D

Everyone is doing so great! I'm struggling so much right now. I went on a drinking binge this past weekend with my BF and another couple (mimosas, wine, beer, sake....) and then ordered a late night pizza and so I've been paying for it on the scale. I'm down to 209.9. Less than a pound in about a week. I was really hoping for something more drastic for my first week back on a diet plan...well sort of back on it despite the bad day on Saturday completely Off Plan....so I have a long way to go to meet my goal by Halloween. It doesn't help that I'm so busy with paperwork at work that I do nothing but sit at my desk all day. :-( Today I decided to wear heels so at least the walking I do, is more work for my calf muscles. I even started printing to the downstairs printer, 1 document at a time so I have to keep doing the flights of stairs....
I'm still so mad at myself for this weekend.

I honestly, as an adult, have never gotten myself a halloween costume. I've been tempted to do so this year mostly because I could probably have just about anything I wanted.

ARRRRR!!!

I'm gonna be a PIRATE... (on the river saskaaatchewaaaaan!)
Arrogant Worms song? Any Canadians? No? I tried... :(

It's still completely and totally wrinkled like you wouldn't believe, and I don't really know whether I've got an iron or not, actually... plus, the material is that plastic-y crap that MAY or may not melt if I touch an iron to it.... not sure HOW to go about getting the wrinkles out of the skirt without going to a dry cleaner... tips anyone?

Congrats on losses!!!!!! Keep it up ladies! :D

Jelbb you are so cute in that outfit i just want to nom you!

OMNOMNOM

Feral 10-14-2009 06:11 PM

Jelbb-- HOW CUTE! So I asked my mom and we decided this about your wrinkly costume.

My suggestion was to take an iron on a LOWWWWW heat setting and make sure you have something between the iron and the costume - like another T-Shirt or a pillow case.

Mom said you could try that but to use it on a small area that you really wouldn't see about the costume.

BTW - You never answered my question about your hair. You haven't always had the blond have you?

Excuse me?!

And it's a heave (ho!) hi (ho!), coming down the plains
Stealing wheat and barley and all the other grains
And it's a ho (hey!) hi (hey!), farmers bar yer doors
When you see the Jolly Roger on Regina's mighty shores!!!

DivineFidelity 10-14-2009 06:21 PM

Jelbb, you look amazing in that costume! I'm completely jealous. That's one of the ones that I had looked at, but I couldn't get it on =/.

Hopefully next year I'll be able to buy whatever costume I want instead of buying the only halfway cute one in the plus size section....lol

SweetTink 10-14-2009 06:24 PM

Count me in!

:carrot:

I know I'm starting this later then everyone else but I've already been working on losing weight for Halloween. I want to get down to 169.9 or lower. Last time I weighed I was at 178 so I had gone up from my previous weight. :( But now I'm back on track and I'm doing my best so hopefully it will pay off in time for Halloween. :D

Good luck & great job to everyone!!!

My suggestion for the wrinkley costume - keep it in the bathroom - the steam from the showers between now and then will help. Make sure to get it nice and steamy in there....if you dont have an iron, maybe go out and buy a steamer wand thingy like they have in the stores in the mall....I would stay away from an iron...

forestroad 10-14-2009 08:50 PM

Jelbb you look amazing in that costume...too bad it's not socially acceptable to dress like a pirate everyday bc that is hawt. Did you cut your hair?

I am so not making the Halloween challenge but that is ok. 139 at the gym today. I've already seen 136 on the scale, I just can't get it to stay there.
