Dream clothing at dream size....

For me, my dream size is a size 8 and at that size I have this picture of me in my mind wearing tight skinny jeans with a cute top(that doesn't cover my butt) and high heels:D...

I couldn't wear high heels before because the weight was just too much and my feet would ache....
I couldn't wear skinny jeans before because I looked like a sausage and ofcoz I had to wear a top that covered my big butt....

Whats your dream outfit at your dream size?????

At to those who are already at their dream sizes, what did it feel like to wear your dream clothing???? (I have heard that nothing tastes as good as thin feels True/False)

My dream size is a 4, I THINK but mostly my dream is to not have these huge saddlebag thighs! I'm an 8 now but feel so unproportionate and weird... like a pear body. I really want to thin out my lower half.

mescelestus 09-08-2009 02:51 PM

My dream size is an 8 or 6, but probably more like an 8...(I am only a size and a half away from an 8) the only problem is that I will have a lot of hanging skin and fat regardless of size...Overlooking that...

I see myself in a pair of daisy dukes, and a midriff bearing top...very Dukes of Hazzard, but what can I say?

I was about to reach goal and bragged that I had bought a pair of size 10 slacks, I had never had size 10, ever, welllllll it was pointed out to me that they were too big , I took them back and got size 8. I now wear size 6 and I tried on a pair of Dockers that were size 4 , and they fit.

Hm...I find it hard to visualise these goals, but it would be very cool if my curves were in proportion to each other (my thighs make my hourglass shape look more like a pear), and that I could then wear a gorgeous dress with a fitted bodice and a long flowing skirt :)

Right now I am focused on being a single digit.8 would be good. When I am there, I will re-evaluate what size I want to be. 8 may be perfect for me. I have a really awesome winter coat I bought 2 years ago in Medium that I really want to wear. It is beautiful. I hope to wear it next winter.

Before I got pregnant, I was down to a size 8. Fitting into clothes I hadn't been able to wear in years was.. well, I was very proud of myself. And that felt great... way better than the pants looked.

I do NOT like the saying "nothing tastes as good as being thin feels." I see it too many times on sites that promote eating disorders. It almost promotes a "why even bother eating" message. Find a different motivational quote that reminds you to be proud of yourself simply for making a healthy change.

I want to be a UK size 10, with a lovely pair off jeans and a simple white tshirt, I want to look good simply....

oh and a knock out black dress

with the way things are going I'll be lucky to get to a 10 or 12! I'm about a 14 now and when I started I was wearing 18.

DREAM though would be 5-7

mayness 09-08-2009 03:49 PM

I have a weird body shape, so I've never been the type to fit into just one size - right now I have clothes ranging from a size 6 to a size 11 that all fit me. But when I was down near my goal before, that range was more like a 1 to 7... so I guess that's my goal size.

I want to wear a short skirt and this tank top. That shirt will have to wait until after I reach goal AND get breast augmentation surgery, though... I've already lost anything I had to fill it with. :o

But my REAL dream is to be able to go running in a sports bra, with no shirt. I might always be too jiggly for that... but it's super motivating to think that it might be possible!

KEmery08 09-08-2009 04:03 PM

I'd reallllly like to be a 4-6. Right now I'm in a 10/12 sort of pattern. A majority of the jeans in the styles I like are odd numbers. Soooo ... I guess I want to be a 5! Ha. Took me a while to get there.

mayness- I still have some jiggly bits but I have recently embraced the jog bra-only workout. I think jiggly bits are normal, so I don't let their existence deter me from feeling like I look good. Plus it just feels sooo much better not to have a shirt. So I say go for it, but to each her own...if you want to wait till you lose the jiggly bits, more power to you. And that shirt is cute, though I have to say I think you can probably find a happy medium for filling it out--that model is huge!!

I'd love to be a 6/8 size. I think that's the smallest I could fit into and still be healthy. And I want to be able to wear tight tank tops and shorts without all of it showing bulge or riding up. I just want to get rid of my icky bulges.

hiimnatalie 09-08-2009 04:52 PM

I usually just wear jeans , which are sized by how big your waist is. Right now I am in a pair of 27 inch jeans, they are a little too big, as my waist is now 26.5 inches. I'm holding out till I'm 26. My goal is to get into a 25 by halloween.

blueiris6 09-08-2009 05:00 PM

I want to get back to wearing size 8 jeans. With a plain ol' size medium t-shirt. No flab hanging over the sides of my jeans and I want the t-shirt to fit loosely! Lots of people can wear fancy clothes to look great, but I want to look great in a t-shirt, hehe.

I agree with sports bra thing! I'd love to be able to throw on a pair of shorts and a sports bra and leave the house to go running - but I've got too many new stretch marks from quick weight gain so I would probably just stick with a tank top :(
