So I wanted to be 130 by Halloween, but my goal was pretty aggressive. I've been stuck at 134 for a few weeks. I'm changing my goal to 125 by year's end. I think it's going to be doable, bc I'm retaining water, and I drank a ton of alcohol over Halloween weekend.

Today is a good day, I decided to try on my size 10 jeans which I bought some time ago for motivation and guess what they fitted perfectly all the way up and zipped all the way up. I couldn't stop crying, it was emotional.
The last time I was a size 10 was in high school, 9 years ago.
I cannot even begin to explain what I am feeling right now, I am so proud of myself. I didn't think I would actually make it this far but here I am, with size 10 jeans...

Hard work + perserverance = results

I am so happy, I had to shared.

I can now definitely see the light at the end of the tunnel and its burning like a bright star...

All the best for the week ahead ladies, will check in next week...

I am so close to goal(weighed in at 136.4 this morning), I am starting to get nervous now...
Because now I need to start working out a maintainence plan will work and not cause me to gain back any weight...
Is anybody in maintainence phase, any tips?

I'm there! I weigh 139! Just thought i'd celebrate by coming to this post! I'm a little different than everyone else here i think, as 130 is ultimately my goal at this point. I don't think i'm going to go below it, but i still have 9 pounds to loose.

I've been hanging around this thread too even though I was only aiming for 135. My maintenance plan is to keep doing what I'm doing and see where I end up. My work outs haven't changed, but my eating has changed a bit. It's kind of hard to describe. In the past, it was more worth it to me to hit a low calorie target than to have a snack or dessert or whatever, but now that may not necessarily be the case. That motivation not to eat something kicks in at a higher calorie level now; for instance, while I was losing, if eating a cookie was going to push me over 1300 calories, I probably wouldn't want to eat it. Now, I probably would. However, if it were going to push me over 2000 calories, I'd still make the same choice of not eating it (not like denying myself, but just knowing the consequences and that fact making me not actually want to eat it).

So that's my plan, and right now I'm hovering in the low 130s.

Welcome Lightness! (Feels weird to call you Unbearable, LOL).

I went out drinking last night for my birthday last night, so I was super dehydrated this morning...to the tune of 129lbs...

Forestroad, My nick name is a big joke.. it's the title of a book I like... but of course I dream with being light.. You are almost out of this thread... I made it through my thanksgiving weekend/trip to puerto rico, I believe that with minor damage.. Now I have to get back on my plan....

Congrats on making it through the double whammy I was up again after Thanksgiving, but a lot of it was water weight that is coming off again. My last weigh in was 129.5, but my "official" weigh in is today and I'm expecting something around 131-132.

Lets bring this post back to life! I met the sweetest fellow who I have been dating since November, and since we started dating, I have ate out way to many times. I found my pants getting quite tight by the end of the year, and I had gained back 9.7 lbs! Yikes! That was my wake up call, and since Dec. 25th Ive lost 6.6 of those pounds, I'm back on the wagon, and want 2010 to = the hottest me ever! My bf and I are planning on going to Cuba some time this year, so I want to be bikini- worthy by the summertime.

I was out of the 130's for a while... but then the holidays hit. I was 132.8 on Monday, and today I'm 130.0 (combination of junk food water weight and TOM water weight that just fell off!) so I shouldn't be here much longer.

Although I doubt there are enough short, small-framed folks like me to make it worth starting a "getting out of the 120's" so maybe I'll stick around and chat here anyway.

Yay!!!! I can finally say see ya to the 130s. After one year and four months of hard work, I'm now 58kg (about 128 pounds). Am starting to get so close to my goal, which is 55 or 56 kilos. (I wanted to lose 20 kilos).

Congrats to everyone in this thread. Just making it to the position where you can think about saying see ya to the 130s is an achievement. Just keep focused and you'll get there.

I've been very focused and strict post-Christmas, as I'm heading to Melbourne on holiday on 21st Jan and wanted to buy a whole new wardrobe for myself, since I no longer fit anything I own any more. Having that specific short-term goal has definitely helped me have the motivation to keep up the exercise and healthy eating. Such a nice way to start the new year.

Definitely want to get out of the 130's so glad I found this thread. I am all over the place with my weight lately, but 135 was my last stable weight. The lowest weight in my adult life! My goal now is 130, but 129 for some reason seems so much more exciting. In my head though it seems like it's not possible, negativity is something I am going to have to work on for sure. What is the common pants size for around 125? I am still in a snug 9 and in some cases 11 in jeans. A lot of people I know around 135 are in 7's!
