I would love to join. I have been playing with the numbers on the scale since April. I would love to be at my goal by the end of the year. I am shooting for 1.5 pounds lost by the first day of Fall. So, here is what I am committing to.

1. Writing down everything that goes in my mouth.
2. Continuing with the Boot Camp and exercise I do at work.
3. More WATER.
4. NO weekend binges..... If I am going to bite it.... I must write it.

Thanks for this thread..... Fall is my favorite time of year and I want to be in my size 12 jeans with a cute sweater (with no muffin top).

Mind if I join you girls?

I would love to be able to keep myself accountable by posting here, and I definitely have a “fit by fall” goal as well! There are about 4.5 weeks left before I return to college for my senior year, but I know that even beyond that point I will need to stay on track. I am anticipating a big shift between living at home and school – there are so many options at the dining hall that it can get really difficult sometimes to stick to a plan. So I basically want to lose as much as I can in the coming weeks (in a healthy way, of course) so that I will be confident and ready to start a great year when I go back.

I am doing well with both eating and exercising right now, but I am going to set a couple goals for myself so I have something concrete to focus on.

1. I will drink at least 4 glasses of water every day, not including what I drink while working out.
2. I will continue to work out 6 days/week, which will include proper stretching, planks, crunches, strength training, and intense cardio.
3. I will walk for at least 40 min. every day during my lunch hour.
4. I will not indulge in more than 1 dessert/treat per week.
5. I will continue my personal hygiene routine so that I feel good – remembering to brush/floss every night, moisturizing, etc. (this might be normal for most people, but I can get pretty lazy sometimes…and it always ends up with me feeling crappy! So I need to remind myself to take care of myself)

I need a challenge, that's for sure. I've slacked off yet again. ugh.

1.) Keep trucking along with the c25k program and actually get it finished (I've been doing week 3 forever, to wussy to move up)
2.) Eat whole foods.
3.) Lower my carb intake (but not to a crazy 'first 2 weeks of atkins' level)
4.) Weight train 4 times per week (either the 30 day shred or one of the workouts from 'making the cut'
5.) Change my focus to 'getting healthy' rather than 'becoming a butterface so I can get a boyfriend'. This one will definitely be the hardest one for me.

IM having a rough start on everything but the drinking more water.
me and my bf are getting ready to move into our own apartment soon, but where we live now, they have nothing but bad food, and when i don't eat what they cook for me, they get offensive, thinking its b/c I don't like their cooking or something. and then I feel bad, b/c I am living here for free.

so im trying to just eat in smaller portions for the time being.

And TOM arrived yesterday and its bad. Im cramping so bad, its hurts. I don't know if any of you guys work out while he's arrived, but I can't the first 2 or 3 days. kinda bummed.

Ick, I'm sorry for ya, Mickey. I'm just getting over mine now, and for the first day, I was miserable and crampy. Hope yours goes away quickly.

Speaking of which, I haven't weighed myself since TOM started. Didn't want to see the super high bloated numbers... but now that it's about gone, I'm gonna weigh in tomorrow morning.

Sadly, I got peer-pressured into pizza for dinner, but I only had ONE slice, and was only at 1,490 calories for the day, so... I've just drunk my body weight in water hoping to flush out extra sodium from the pizza, and have had to pee three times in the last hour. Wheee!

Let ya know how things are looking tomorrow morning! Hoping I'm just at least still at 147!

Today was a bad eating day. It started out good, but then I got a sub instead of a salad at cousins because it was cheaper, and then there were muffins at work... and it sort of went downhill from there. No time to work out either since I have an organic chemistry test tomorrow (which I'm still not prepared for). I have a wedding to go to this weekend, and I'm going to try not to overindulge. I'm bringing a "date", so hopefully that'll help me eat less. :P I'm not sure what exactly is going on, but I've been ravenous this week no matter how much I eat. Frustrating.

Is it too late for me to join? I'm a late starter.

My goals are to exercise more. Even a nice hour walk in the evening. When its nice and cool.

Drink More water.

Stop eating at fast food places so much.(Even subway. Those "bad" subs still get me.)

Stop nitpicking at foods!

Somehow after a week of crappy eating I'm back down to 165. But I did have a giant ego boost at the reception last night when people were commenting on how good I looked (I haven't seen most of the people there in 3 or so years). Now that all of the events I have to go do this summer are over, I can hopefully start eating a lot better. It'll just be a struggle for the next 2 weeks while I still have this summer class.

I'm 146 this morning! Whoo!!!
I've been doing pretty damn good with my goals, and I've been doing C25k as well, and things are going wellll!!! I keep thinking that 146-point-anything is a major fluke, and I'm gonna wake up tomorrow back at 148, or 153....!
