  • What am I talking about? Ok, so you know how the doctor's office scales have two weights, the big one on the bottom measuring out 50# and the smaller one on top measuring in smaller increments? This afternoon at the gym I only had to move the big block 2 notches to the right--to 100lbs instead of 150lbs!! This was a huge mental marker for me. Now I just need to get that small weight to move back to the left...

    149lbs and normal BMI--woohoo!!
  • Woo hoo!!! Congratulations Good job!
  • Isn't that awesome? My gym has the doctor scales and weighs me a couple pounds heavier then home. But I finally got it go to 150lb & 50 instead of 200lb & 50.
  • SO AWESOME!!!

I'll admit, that's part of the reason my goal weight is in the 140s That, and I think it would be a healthy endpoint for my height/build.

    Congrats!
  • Yay YOU!!!!!
  • Congrats!!!! It great to have little markers of your progress! Your well on your way to achieving your goal, Good Luck!!
  • Thanks guys!

Wormwooddoll- congrats on your loss! Doesn't it feel good when you knock that big guy down a notch? But then the little one goes all the way back to the right, lol...we'll keep working on that one for the time being
  • Congratulations on being normal!
  • Yay for normal, hehe. Congrats on your success!

I have a doctor's scale at home, and I can't WAIT to be in the 140s because of that!
  • CONGRATS, Forest!!!!! I'm so proud of you!!! Not even jealous that you beat me there, because I'm so happy you're rocking 147!!!!
As soon as my body decides to de-plateau, I will be right there in that 140's thread with you!!!
  • Thanks Jelbb! Your last measly 0.4lb is bound to drop off any second now...I want a friendly face in the 140 thread
  • Congratulations.

I had this experience for the very FIRST time at my doctor this past Friday. It does feel great. I wanted to do a cartwheel off that scale and actually could and would have. But then I would have worried about what the nurse wrote about me in her chart!
