Oh good grief.
I know I only have like 350 calories left for the day. But all I can think about is my mom's chocolate chip cookies. And at about 200 calories a pop... well... What's a girl to do??
I have no control with them- while baking them I eat the dough although I promise myself not to. After they're baked I say "just one!" and I eat 5.
I know I can't bake them because I can't control myself- I've tried! But I feel like if I don't have them, I'm going to become really violent. HAHAHAHA ok, not violent. But I really want these damn cookies!

I know how you feel - now that I am consistently working out every day and doing strength training 3x/week, I am hungry ALL THE TIME. I ate dinner 2 hours ago (some celery w/ hummus and a small plate of pasta w/ vegetables) and my mom's homemade cookies are calling to me as well. Plus they are peanut butter chocolate chip, my favorite!! (she baked them for my dad). I might have a small snack, but am going to grab a plum or peach from the fridge instead of a cookie...I checked in mid-week on the scale this morning, and I don't want to ruin a good loss for the week.
If you are just dying to eat something, choose a healthy piece of fruit or something not so loaded with fat/calories.

If I want a cookie or two, I have them No matter what. I do limit myself to only TWO, instead of the five, six, seven I would have took back in the day.

Yay!
I'm glad you had leftover calories and got to eat one.
I totally have foods that I'm like that with. Smartfood popcorn is my absolute TRIGGER food. I cannot say no to the stuff, and once I start, I can't stop!

Whenever I have cravings I ask myself why do I really want this. Usually when I can't answer the questions I just lose interest.

Well, if the cookies were already MADE, I'd say have one and wrap the rest up to take somewhere else (like work or a friend's house).
If they're NOT made, and YOU have to make them...I'd skip the process. You sound like me...I'm into the chips, the dough, the butter and everything when I bake. I can't control it, so I try not to do it even though I LOVE baking.
