Well it's an odd genre (hard core irish punk music) but Dropkick Murphys totally kick *** in the workout songs department! My favorite is "The State Of Massachusetts" (which is also the theme song in the opening credits of "Nitro Circus" on MTV if you've ever seen that show).

I have a wide taste in music, but I try to make sure I pick something that's really upbeat and has a consistent beat, too. I've noticed that since I power walk outside I slow down without realizing when songs slow down.

I've been listening to Green Day's new album, lately, but I love them, so that's me. I'm putting together a playlist right now with some classic rock, some Green Day, some musical stuff (like Rent). I might be adding "I'll Make A Man Out Of You" to it, too, because that just cracks me up. XD I also use Flogging Molly. They're sort of in the same category as the Dropkick Murphys, but I like Flogging Molly better. >>; Personal opinion. Though some of their songs are slower, I just pick the faster more jaunty ones. "Drunken Lullabies" FTW. XD

Why do you hate to say it? She's awesome, and a true artist and unlike those manufactured popstars like Britney.
