Default New here, and a question.

Hi everyone, I am 29 (so will only be with all of you for a year) and need to lose about 90lbs. I am 5'3" and 220lbs. I would like to get to 130, but will be very happy to get to 150lbs.

I am really just calorie counting, staying at 1300 a day. I am also paying attention to my carbs and fat, but not going on a low fat/carb diet, just not going overboard.

Right now I can't exercise, doctors orders so I am sure weight loss will be slow going.

Anyway I have a quick question. I am 300 calories short today and I have no clue what to eat! Any ideas? I don't mind being a little under my calories, but not 300 and I just have no clue what to eat! Oh and no veggies, I don't eat veggies. I know I should but it wouldn't be good, I would just throw up. LOL

Do you have any yogurt, cheese, jello, sugar free pudding or sugar free Jello? No veggies....how about fruit ? An orange or apple or a banana.

Pardon me for asking, but why can't you have veggies?

Also yeah - yogurt or cheese might do it.

Thanks ladies.

Jennierose, it's not that I can't have veggies, it's just that I hate them so much I would most likely throw up if I tried. I can eat raw carrots, cauliflower, and corn on the cob. That's about all I can handle though.

I still haven't eaten anything yet, I should probably go have some cheese or something.

you could have some juice! I drink juice or milk if I need to consume some calories.

Ah, I understand. I used to hate them too. I had to gradually introduce them, or find ways to eat them that my body tolerated. 2 years later - I realized I can only really tolerate them raw or very lightly steamed with very few exceptions.

In that case, I'm with the rest of the ladies - milk, cheese, or juice.

SarahMorgan you could be talking about me! I'm 29 and 5'3", too, and my overall goal is to lose 90 lbs to get to 130, but for now I'm aiming for 155 by the end of the year. And I also hate veggies! I bought Jessica Seinfeld's book Deceptively Delicious to try to introduce them into my diet somehow, but I'm still afraid to try any of them. Anyway, welcome...and I would try some string cheese or some fruit, like most of the other girls have suggested.
