Default Yet another TOM question...

Sorry....

I'm noticing a pattern with my weight. Right after my TOM I weigh in at 139-140 pounds, then as the weeks between drag on, I pick up weight...up to as much as a steady 144-145 before the next TOM...then right back down...

Anyone else notice this? It just freaks me out to see the scale rise for no reason!!!

I am the same way and I am 48, sorry to tell you it does not get any better with age.

Dangit!!! This is actually kinda new for me...I was holding pretty steady at 139-140 every time I weighed. Just the past few months I've been going up and down.

HAHA! Try being someone who retains lots of water anyway and who doesn't eat nearly enough sodium.

Both Blcarter and I are notorious for putting on 10-15lbs of water weight during our TOM. It could be worse.

I have a similar problem - but probably for different reasons - about 1 1/2 weeks before TOM I just want to eat eat eat, and most of the time I do! I also think I retain a lot of fluid. but when it actually comes I can't eat for a week because I get so nauseous. So my weight fluctuates widly.
It's hard to know how to get anywhere when you're so all over the place, so I sympathise.
