Yeah! not only that but for me I'm pretty sure I retain way more water when I eat later. And if I say no eating after 7, I am seriously cutting out a lot of mindless snacking and munchies that I would be eating otherwise.

It's a good rule for me! :)

Well i have finally broken my plateau! I got on the scale yesterday and saw 171. I have been at 175 since the end of March. I do 30 ds for one week and hit 172. Soooo excited. :)

GO YOU!!!!!!!!!

I have good news too! SO at the beginning of the week I was freaked to see 178 on the scale- up 4 pounds in less than a WEEK!?!!

Well, the early morning cycling and eating right, and cutting out diet sodas has really made a difference for me- this morning I was expecting to see like 176+ on the scale- nope! 174.5!!!!!!!! yahoo!!! It's still MORE than I wanted to weigh- it's where I started before that big 4lb gain, but I'll take it over 178! Haha!

Hopefully this loss continues- I always stop losing at 170 and bumble around forever. Well, not this time ladies, I'm pushing through no matter what it takes!!

Congrats!

I too was completely shocked to get on the scale this morning and see 172.4. I totally expected something in the 173s.

I gained some weight back after a 2 month stint of being off the wagon. Not much though. I was 171 this morning (I peaked at 174 before I said UH OKAY ASH GET IT TOGETHER) so I'm gonna hang around here for a little while.

Day 1 for me on this site... but I thought I'd join the 170's club. :) I'm planning to start the EA Active 30 day plan for Wii tomorrow. Here's to a new me! (And...all of us!) Reading all of your posts so far has been incredibly motivating - congrats on all that you girls have achieved so far!

HI LEIGHISH!!! Love to have you here!!

And welcome any other newbs to the 170's thread...

SO.... Last night we went on a double date with my brother and my best friend- yes, they went on a date TOGETHER (i went with my hubby, duh)... We went to this great burger drive thru and I had a small burger and fries. FRIES. And then today? My family had a fathers day bbq and I had WHITE mashed potatoes and some bbq ribs... I feel really gross.

Going to do better this coming week :) I did great all week long but this weekend- boo. :)

carcar05 06-22-2009 09:58 AM

5am cycling today- back on track. This weekend was a doozy... BUT I did much better than expected and cycling was insane today. Very challenging but fun.

How are you ladies doing???

sockmonkey70 06-22-2009 12:22 PM

Pick me pick me! I'm back in the high 170s now too. Going to get back to journaling everything I eat so I can stay in range! I'm hoping to be in the 160s by September :)

rocketbunny 06-22-2009 02:47 PM

I essentially maintained this weekend, which is fantastic considering what I ate.

From pizza Friday night to fast food on Saturday to Father's Day BBQ at my parent's house on Sunday, it was, as carcar05 said, a *doozy*.

Getting on the scale this morning, I was surprised to be down .2 lbs and reached 19 lbs lost (10% of my starting body weight). I'm sure I'll be crowing about 20 lbs in a few days, but I still have 2.2 lbs to go before I'm *outta heah!*

carcar05 06-23-2009 12:20 AM

At least it's not a gain Rocket Bunny! :)

Where are you girls???

So I'd really love to do some goal setting as far as how much weight I'd like to lose by X date. But I feel like every time I've done that I have let myself down. So I really dont' want to do that this time around. I really just want to be healthy. But let's suffice it to say that my husband and I have made the decision to set October as our goal to start getting pregnant with baby #2! Our little girl will be 2 in October, and my work will be slowing down immensely in October, so it'd be a great time to get pregnant.

I had really wanted to get down to at least 150 before getting pg again-- like by the END of October. Is that possible??? Help me do this girls! I need help! :dizzy:

mizmizzy 06-26-2009 08:48 PM

the scale finally budged! 171.5

only a .5 lb loss but at least its something. thank you GOD! please let me leave the 170's soon...

now its time to pass out.

GlamourGirl827 06-26-2009 09:33 PM

i havent been around 3fc much lately, but the road is getting rougher and im losing steam.

2 wks ago i was waaay closer to that pretty 169, but these days i think im hovering around 178, and i need a kick in the butt! BIG TIME.

reeeeally dont wanna repeat past patterns of -- lose a little, gain a little, lose some more, gain it back... AHH i want to see the lightness :)

thats all for now folks! see you tomorrow!
