I think it's a very pretty dress and very appropriate for what you are planning. I myself am more of a small affair type person, I think all too often people get caught up in the drama of a massive wedding and the cost of a wedding like that is ridiculous- imho.

Hope you like the dress on and your day goes beautifully.

I eloped in Vegas. At the time I just wanted to get married and didn't care, but if I could do it over, I'd have had the wedding. I know it's a recession, and weddings can be expensive, but I think it's worth it. Whatever decision you make, just make sure that deep down you're happy about it..... you can't go back and do it over!

Bliss- it's very pretty! Whatever you decide to do, it'll be a very special day for you!

FYI- I noticed on the David's website that a lot of (short & long) bridesmaids dresses are available in white and run in the $100-$150 range!

AHHH wedding dresses!!! I am dying along with you! Aren't we getting married the same day or very close to eachother? I haven't picked my dress yet, I am scared sh*tless! LOL I go on David's Bridal and look at their sales links... I think $299 or $399 is great for a dress. I like yours a lot, you should go try it, but I think you should go try a few others too. That's what I plan on doing too at least. When I get the courage.
Good luck!

I think it is great for a city hall wedding. It's simple and elegant! That is the kind of dress I am going to wear. DF&I decided against the big wedding. Just one at the court and a small party afterwards with family.
