Getting plastic surgery on Tuesday, finally!
 

Hi 20somethings! I just want to announce to all of you who have given me support over the years and all the new 20somethings that the time has finally arrived for me to take the next step in my life and my journey to a smaller, healthier me. I'm getting plastic surgery on Tuesday--a lower body lift and a breast augmentation, to deal with some of the problems of loose skin that I have been left with from my weight loss. I'm nervous and not looking forward to the long and likely difficult recovery period but I'm happy that it's finally happening and I'm moving forward with it.

I'll post some before/after photos eventually :) see you on the flip side!

Oh wow, congrats! If you don't mind me asking (and don't worry about answering if you do) but did you have to get a lift with the augmentation? I'm really wanting to get an augmentation but I'm afraid of the lift part, I've heard it's sometimes not necessary to have a lift with the augmentation. I guess it all depends on what your surgeon thinks, but I'm trying to do a little research before I go ahead. Anyway, well done on the weight loss and hope you have a speedy recovery!

Thanks everyone!! :) Leesa I am not getting a breast lift because the surgeon told me it wasn't right for me in terms of how my breasts are formed. Basically, my boobs are low but they're normal that way. lol Anyway a lift and an augmentation are two different procedures but they are often performed together.
