Default Working out on antibiotics?

I got sick, really really sick on my birthday. I went to a Doctor even. ( I don't have medical insurance so this in itself is amazing.)

I could not work out during this time, which at the time i didn't mind I went from 161 to 154 in a week.

Now I feel better but i have another ten days of antibiotics to take and a friend told me NOT to work out on antibiotics because i may feel better but my body is still fighting infection and with my mild cough I could end up with a serious lung infection.

But she's not a Doctor and I'm back to 160 and really want to work out again.

Does anyone have any experience with this?

If you're feeling well enough to work out, I think it would be fine. Just take it easy. You could always call the triage nurse at the clinic you went to and ask the nurse if it's okay.

Working out is actually great when you are recovering.Just let your body guide you.If you feel good, keep going. If you dont, stop.

Last spring I got bronchitis pretty bad and had to take a couple weeks off exercising.. once I started feeling the least bit better I was back at the gym, not quite going full strength.. but at least being active.. If i was tired afterwards, I rested... Like harrismm said.. just let your body guide you.
