KS - I just ordered the Sookie Stackhouse books too! YAY. I can't wait to start reading....its my second love. There are so many suggestions on here.

I agree with reading all the Jane Austen books. They're all just so good! Northanger Abbey is great too but I think I have to say P&P and S&S are my absolute favorites...At least this time around reading!

Wow, these are some great suggestions! And I've read a ton of them already! I'm starting to get into autobiographies of completely outrageous people. I just finished No Lifeguard on Duty: The Accidental Life of the World's First Supermodel by Janice Dickinson. It’s pretty great, really funny, and truly surprising. She has a few other books out, one on dating that I’m going to get. I like her in-your-face style, even if she is all about being super skinny! I’m also thinking about getting Chelsea Handler’s books, as well as Jenna Jameson’s book How to Make Love Like a Porn Star: A Cautionary Tale. Some reading list, huh?

^^ Very interesting indeed. You've given me some more to add to my list!

Recently, I ordered over twenty books. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to read most of them. I have Anna Karenina, Bleak House, The Souls Of Black Folks, Tipping The Velvet, Dark Lover, Minion, Kiss Of The Spider woman and more sitting on shelves waiting to be read over the summer.

However, I've managed to read a few: Kindred by Octavia Butler (which I was assigned for an English course but enjoyed it and grateful to have it as an addition to my book collection ), The Laughing Corpse and Circus of the Damned by Laurell K. Hamilton (book 2 and 3 in the Anita Blake Series), Absolute Boyfriend by Yuu Watase (I only finished book one so far but this magna made me laugh out loud). Additionally, I was assigned to read some short stories from Neil Gaiman's Sandman series (who I was already acquainted with from the Death comics and Coraline).

Last week, I started La Dame Aux Camellias by Alexander Dumas fils (the famous Dumas' son), Batman Year One by Frank Miller and re-reading Dune by Frank Herbert (my favorite sci-fi fantasy book).

Ooh, Tipping the Velvet is great! Though if you like that one, you should be sure to read Fingersmith, too--I think it's Sarah Waters' best book so far.

I also adore Bleak House, though I sometimes feel alone in that opinion. When I first started dating my boyfriend back in August 2007, we both recommended books to each other: he wanted me to read 100 Years of Solitude, and I wanted him to read Bleak House. Well, I finished 100 Years of Solitude in November 2007. He is still only halfway through Bleak House! He keeps "losing" it, lol. Though now I'm doing the same with his second suggestion, The Name of the Rose. It's a great book but so complicated!

Runner's World. Always. I've read skinny ***** and it helped me knock of my crap last summer. It was no nonsense, and sometimes, I need that. For fun? I'm reading about gender and prostitution as well as waiting for my copy of the new Anne Bishop book to arrive.

I am reading Angels and Demons by Dan Brown. Very good so far. I also absolutely LOVED Twilight series. I bough a book called Marked by P.C. Cast and Kristin Cast which is also about vampires. I am hoping it will be good. It's part of the House of Night Novels.
