I found it. Its....amazing in a sense. I cant believe i let myself get that bad. And it brings back all the fears of going back to being like that again. Not that everything was bad because i was at that weight, but just look at it! No wonder i have trouble coming to terms with being a lower weight.

Anyway, here it is. It was taken around Christmas 2007 (sorry the pics are kinda odd, had to edit other people out)

I feel like crying. Crying because of what I've done for myself, the change, the fact i spent so much time at a weight i didnt like, being too scared to try and change it...

It also makes me excited. I gotta go buy myself some dumbells now :D

here's my before and after. the before picture didn't really spur my weight loss, but it should have.
left: 180 pounds, summer of 2007. right: 130 pounds, last month.

painted lady- thats an awesome change too! Looks like you have some arm/shoulder muscle-age going on there too :D

I actually had a video of myself doing the chicken dance with my 2 year old son in the candy aisle of walmart that was part of a dare (long story) but the picture was too big for the post so I included this one instead. It's still frightening to me...

Lita- maybe we all feel the fear. I try to use it as motivation, but sometimes it is a bit over whelming. The older picture looks like great motivation too, shows that you CAN get there. I've never been a healthy weight in my adult life, so its all sort of new and strange to be getting close to that >.<

Lynsey- amazing difference in your face!

I'm so tempted to post my own pics but it would just be for vanity purposes, they're already up in the mini goal photo album. Gotta get a little attention for losing all this weight once in a while though. ;)

this thread is all about glory :D and motivating others. Post your pics if you want, we're all itching to see them anyway :D Maybe my before photo doesnt look as bad because there is no one else in the photo to put it into perspective lol :D

I'd like to say that the photos from my son's baptism were the AHA! photos but I would gain almost 15 more lbs before I finally started my weight loss.

At any rate..

you look great!!!! what kind of workouts do you do? i'm struggling to find a plan that works and yours surely does. whatever your doing, its inspiring!
