Tonight I made Ground Turkey and Veggie Spaghetti. I found this whole grain spaghetti at the store today that is only 150 cal .5 g fat and 7 g fiber per serving!! I was excited. So in the spaghetti, I threw in mushrooms, spinach, carrots and the holy trinity. (onion, bell pepper and celery) Steamed some Asparagus too!

YUM YUM!

Last night I had whole-wheat spaghetti with organic pasta sauce and those Morningstar farms veggie crumbles instead of ground beef/turkey.

Tonight I had grilled tilapia with a baked potato.

Tonight was omelettes with ham, peppers, onions, and a little cheese. I love "breakfast food" for dinner!

Dinner for me tonight was roasted potatoes and red bell peppers, topped with hot sauce and romano cheese, baby carrots with light blue cheese, and an apple. It was pretty good actually!

My boyfriend and I had a delicious lunch at the pub yesterday afternoon, so I had a smaller dinner as I wasn't so hungry in the evening. I had a bowl of root vegetable soup with rosemary. Very warm and satisfying!

I'm not sure what to make for my dinner tonight. I'd quite fancy something using a can of tuna as that is what I have in the cupboard, and I want to eat something protein-filled without too many carbohydrates! If anyone has any delicious ideas for recipes involving canned tuna, I'd love to hear them!

Gosh, I love this thread. I'm such a foodie.

My dinner last night was a banana and a pita stuffed with grilled chicken, onions, peppers, bbq sauce and a slice of low fat cheese all heated up to warm melty goodness!

Tonight it will probably be a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and small salad.

I work second shift so my dinner is at work, it usually ends up looking like most people's lunch in size and scope.

Tonight: Whole Wheat Spaghetti with meat sauce and LOTS of broccoli. I am using HUNTS canned diced tomatoes so cut back on the sugar and over all processing of the sauce and Amy's organic meat...Oh, with a salad too.

Wow, great thread!

Thursday: I had chicken breast marinated in low fat balsamic dressing, string beans with garlic and a romaine salad.

Friday: It's gonna be fillet mignon (I'm nervous- never cooked this), baked sweet potatoes and some mixed veggies.

boogie: filet is easy to cook. I don't know how you like your steaks, but most of the time they are best when cooked to Medium Rare. (Although sometimes I like a rare steak!) Just make sure you season it to your liking and enjoy it most of all! That is actually making me want steak instead of crawfish this weekend!

Tonight I was bad. We were not at home, and I just got hit with a "I'm starving!" attack. Apparently, I had not eaten all day, and it was around 5 or so. So I was bad and ate at Sonic. But I got my crab burger on wheat bread, without mayo, with tomato and lettuce. And I only ate a few fries before giving the rest to my fiance so i would not eat them.

This weekend will be filled with yummy seafood, and maybe I can convince my dad to grill steaks too!!

Have I told you guys lately how much I love this thread?!?!? I'm definately a foodie too!
