But seriously, just remember to have fun, that's the most important thing about first dates. If you go into thinking of it as an experience with the fun potential of getting to know someone rather than a date it is so much easier to have fun.

If I may offer a little advice...wear something that makes you feel comfortable and good about yourself. If you have a shirt, or jeans, or some killer shoes...wear them. It will make you feel that much more sure of yourself and make things feel less awkward.

Aw Meredith! you are so adorable. I read your post on my blackberry while I was waiting for my car to be fixed and had a smile from ear to ear. lol

You have the best attitude and personality - I bet you HE will be the one that is the most nervous! And if nothing else, even if it's not what you expected, there's always the fact that you did a huge ego-building thing by asking him! You've set yourself up for a life of just going for it!
