The good, the bad, and the broken

  • So about a week and a half ago, while playing the lovely game of rugby, I broke my leg. Yes. I can't believe it but I did. I had surgery on it last week and am now in a cast. It sucks.

The good part about this I have been at home with mom and dad and forced to eat what they do. I feel like I souldnt ask them to get me seconds and for the first part of the week had a very weak appitite. I know that my moms scale always reads slightly lower than my true weight, but I just weighed my self, mid-day (after drinking water and eating throughout the day) and it placed me at about 180/181 (Its analog, so its a little hard to read). That is very low for me. I think I am losing and am excited.

Hopefully something good has come out of this terrible ordeal...
  • hey
being sick or hurt is tough but it will also help you to focus on your eating habits, which I also need to work on. Keep it up.
  • Wow, that is a bummer. My daughter also plays rugby so your post caught my attention right away.

Hope you are able to stay on track and heal quickly.
  • I totally have been in your boat, but the crutches definately give you a workout! I hope that you're feeling better and that your leg heals more quickly than my ankle did!
  • I'm glad you're getting something good out of this!!
