DIY Eyebrow Threading

I was exploring Youtube's beauty and makeup videos a couple of days ago and came upon this tutorial for eyebrow threading. The girl is a little bit perky and the video itself is kind of redundant, but MAN, it worked so good! It was a little bit painful, kind of like tweezing, but it got out all of the smaller hairs that I can never get without waxing, and was way easier.

It took me about 5 minutes for each brow but they look fantastic now :D

Threading is kind of painful. I had it done in Vietnam when I went on a medical mission in nursing school. Had my eyebrows and bikini line done....yest I had my bikini line threaded in a Vietnamese hut. You only live once, (but I wouldn't recomment it). Imagine tweezing your pubic hairs out one by one!!!!! I think I am sticking to waxing, but whatever works!!! Plus I shake like crazy I think I would have very uneven brows.

I love the threading. Whenever I used to get my eyebrows waxed, I would leave the salon embarrassed because my face would be so red. It looked like someone smacked with me a 2x4. :o Then the skin would be irritated and would break out around my eyebrows. The threading is more comfortable, no irritation, and the lady I go to gives me an awesome arch that no one else can do. Wish I could do my own though, I over tweeze as it is.

I liked it for my eyebrows but not the bikini line!!!

I have never tried that but there is another great youtube info video I found. It is how to curl hair with a flat iron... its awsome, she is kind of weird but I did it on my hair with great results!!

LOL! I tried that! my hair is still a tad too short to do it well, but isn't that cool?!?!?!

i've tried eyebrow threading once before and it hurt so bad! I've been waxing for years, and maybe my face is just desensitized bc I like that over anything else ....

so i posted a question about eyebrows and what can make them grow earlier but didnt get much of a response in the beauty forum..so I am posing it to you guys. do you girls know any remedies for overwaxed eyebrows? i've been growing mine out for like 9 months, and one eyebrow is so slow to grow..any suggestions?
