Sorry I haven't been on lately, all this darn rain we've been getting has made me want to do nothing but hibernate!! It was so cold yesterday that we had snow flurries! (And three days before that it was so hot outside that I was washing my car in shorts and flip-flops)
I ate chinese last night... From the chinese place... Not so good for me staying OP right? Well, since it was Friday, I slept in late, so I woke up at 11 or so, and ate breakfast... and other than some popcorn and an apple, I ate nothing else until dinner... I just wasn't hungry. So, I slurged and got Some shrimp with veggies and steamed rice. and it was yummmyyy!! So this weekend, I have to be good. I'm still trying to convince Jason that we need to go and see Watchmen. I think that about sums up my weekend plans.... Have a great one ladies! |
Beaka - oh its delish, but you have to find bolners fiesta spanish rice seasoning. they stopped selling it here, so i order it online directly from them. My sister and i looked all over for it for so long, that they even changed the recipe on the bottle, BUT my other sister in CO had an old bottle and sent me the recipe, its fantastic and works just fine with brown rice...http://www.fiestaspices.com/?page=spanishriceseasoning if you get it let me know.. i'll send you the real recipe Good luck with your cousins, just tell them you are doing good so far and they should support you, i mean they can do without for a week, right!!!!

I've never been involved in a forum as well, but i find myself reading everything on here all the time...it keeps me distracted from making excuses not to work out and eat right!! Cora- dieting has also done wonders for my cooking too. a couple of years ago i was going to school for nutrition, and one my teachers mentioned spaghetti squash, it sounded interesting, so i finally tried it, OMG fantastic!! and it cooks in the microwave, flipping sweet, i think i lost 10lbs just from learning to eat right that semester! Congrats on the Tattoo, sounds like you are getting a big piece, you'll have to share when u are done! Ok, i am catching up and just saw that you are getting a phoenix bird, and that is freaking fantastic, i really really want one on my back too, but i'm done with tattoo's, so I'll live vicariously through yours...i found a picture of one online, custom is way better but yay! I'm super excited for u know...ALSO, i forgot you are going to see bands this weekend, that's sooo cool! I love love love live music, and getting dressed up is so much fun! cake - when i first started looking for my own place i was appaulled by the prices, its totally insane and i know that on the east coast its even MORE expensive... Funny funny stuff about the chick next to you, we definitely have that at my work too, some people just don't know how to keep to themselves. My weigh in blew, i'll get to that in my rant! I agree with cora though, you will definitely be maintaing soon, you are doing so good, 27 lbs is phenominal!! Now i live with my BF and he has everything, so i got lucky! Don't worry about the workouts, get settled in and then get your work on, when i first started reading these pages, your energy inspired me, but actually it was your other thread, i forget the title, but you were always posting your workouts...I know you can get back in! Chele - that is HILARIOUS, i only go to hockey games because of the fights too, so entertaining...Can't we all just get a long?? hahaha OH and F the f key! hahaha, ok, i'm a cheese ball PHEW, that is a lot of jibber jabber, but what can ya doo I'm in a fantastic mood, missed yesterday so i had to catch up. My weighin yesterday made me so angry i was ready to only eat veggie burgers wrapped in lettuce with fat free cheese and my frozen veggies for the rest of the month...that is my lunch everyday, and i'm addicted, so it wouldn't have been bad, but my BF talked me out of it. I have been working out so hard and consistently, i was back UP to 151.6, so needless to say i was in a bitter mood until i got off work. We decided we did so good these last 14 days, were splurging (he didn't lose either) and went to happy hour for 2 pitchers of blue moon, then we went to this place for vodka oyster shooters 2 each, then went to the bar across the street from us for their fish fry which is the best best best evar! and its not all greasy, they are lil cubes of fish, that they batter with all their own spices and stuff.. we split a basket so we didn't go TOO crazy...I dont even care either...I got up and went to boot camp this morning and before i left i weighed again and was at 150.8, so i'm over it, i'm doing good and i refuse to let it get to me. We are watching the Ohio State game today and then heading to the Ostrich Festival, which sounds super country, but i've never been and its almost free. They are having a demolition derby so it should be fun...have you guys ever had ostrich, its SOOO good, and lean, and get this its RED meat...so good try it if u ever haven't.. :D ok ok, so the game is about to start... have a good weekend all !!! |
Alright well I finally got off of my butt and did 45 minutes of Tae bo! Woo I feel much better now.

Dansin: I really didn't know people ate ostrich, that is quite interesting. I'm not much of a meat eater but I'm def. gonna have to tell my bf about this.

Kecia - welcome (even though it has been like over a week or something) Nish - you didn't get arrested and no one passed out on the street? oh well maybe next time. lol Beaka - you are in the atl? I am going there is coming weekend with my mom and sister for my mom's business trip. i know i want to go to the cnn center and my sister wants to go to the aquarium. Any must see/eat/shop? Cora - you can have some of my boobs. I got way too much. Cake - yeah i never understand why one bedrooms are soo high and then a 2 or more bedroom split evenly becomes affordable. How was the bike show? sorry i was out of town BL - congrats on the apartment. one day i will have a place where i will not wake up and see my mom hoovering over me at 7:30 in the morning. Working out is going well. eating is going better than expected. I am hoovering around the 190.4 mark so we will see what morning brings. So i am going to need you all's help/ guidance/ enlightenment if you will. i have a date tomorrow to go to the movies. Let me give you some background. I have never been on a date before. Yes i managed to make it all the way through hs and college without catching someone's eye. So to me, not having a date to functions and whatever is normal. I had been talking to this guy for a little bit, not really thinking anything of it (actually wanting him to leave my alone), and then for some reason today he asked and I said okay. Do I know what changed my mind? nope. My first real date. Should I be jumping up and down right now, because I am calmly sitting in my chair not really thinking about tomorrow. This is all new, and some things new i like, but when you dont date (at least for me), you just get used to it. |
So I'll do some personals tomorrow. Just wanted to drop a line. I get so busy with my waitressing on weekends that I never have time to get online. I did pretty good all weekend. Last night there were some drinks after work and some pizza after drinking....so not so good there. But I did rock out with the cardio and strength Sat morning so as far as I'm concerned I didn't do half bad. Today I was WAY under cals cuz I slept most of the day away. LOL
I reached my St Patty's Day mini goal on Friday so YEAH ME!!!!! I was super excited!!!! Tomorrow morning I sign my daughter up for a pre K program and I'm hoping it's a good idea. |
