OT: I need support
 

So last yr. my mom went for a routine drs appt. and they had found a mass in her lower back, that is getting a blood supply too it. They dont know what it is or what they are going to do. so a few days ago she had a cat scan n its still getting bigger and she has a spot on her liver now and now also a hole in her lower part of her spine. they think it could be bleeding. I dont know what do. my friends arent around i keep getting vm's and leaving them 1 and no call backs. ive been calling 4 days and i just need to vent and cry to some1. n they prolly dont know what to say but even calling and say nothing will make a difference. you guys have been great supporters. i wanted some help n you guys are the next best thing. :) i soo badly want to eat but i havent. i just dont want to pick up any more bad habits. thank you 4 letting me vent.

ya i live at home and every 1 is stressed and worried. sometimes i did hear her crying and it breaks my heart cuz i cant fix it.

We're totally here for you CurvaceousCutie! :hug: I know what you mean by wanting to help and not being able to. I would just try and be positive around my mom and listen to her, cause she probably needs to vent too!

I have a parent who has been sick for a long time so I don't know exactly what you are going through but I know what it means to have one of your parents ill. Some once said to me: You don't need to get through it well, you just need to get through it. It's true, it'll will be a test of your strength and everything you know so be as nice to yourself as possible right now, allow yourself to be a basketcase, to be a b*tch, to be happy, sad whatever comes naturally. There is no right way to deal with it, so deal with it the best way you can. This too shall pass.

Hope your mom gets thru this okay, it's is hard not being able to help but you being there is good for her and Iam sure she is glad for that. Try to take care of yourself during this time too:hug:
