Back on the Wagon
It has been about 3 months since Ive been on 3 fat chicks. I havent gained any weight, but I also havent lost any. I would truely like to lose 40-50 lbs and I need to get back into gear. I recently joined the Rugby team hoping it would solve my weight issues but it hasnt. We have 2 hrs of practice 3 days a week and then 2hr on saturday followed by an 80 min game (HIGH INTENSITY). It has given me a great outlet to reduce stress and gain friends, but the scale has not really budged. I do feel more fit and I am moving WAY more than before, but Im not seeing any results in my size. I need to gain strengh and lose fat. I know that weight loss is a difficult road and may need a good kick in the butt once in a while. I am dieting with a type of intuitive eating plan. I try to eat healthy and only eat when Im hungry. I am going to go see a nutritionist (free through the university) and get some input on diet. I think that I am doing things well, but they dont see to be working (or at least im losing weight at a very slow pace). I think my weight is stress induced from very difficult classes and pressure.
I normally lose more weight when I visit this site regularly, so I will commit to that. Also, I am going to add some more workouts, drink more water, and write down my food intake (even though I know the calories are low). Any helpful hints, words of wisdom, or advice? |
just stick with it, make it a real committment in your life... Maybe by joining the rugby team you have gained some muscle and that is where not losing weight came in?
best of luck-you can do it! |
