Weekend Support Thread!
I know how we behave on the weekend can derail any progress we make during the week! Lets stick to our plans, ladies!!
my plan: Under 1400 calories daily, 30 minutes exercise, 48 oz water! Saturday: Okay so DH and I were woken early (6am) by the phone ringing (a wrong number of course) but we found a way to spend the extra time. Anyway I really wanted pancakes. REALLY wanted pancakes. So DH went to the store and brought me home a few things... http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3084/...cbe59e71ed.jpg And all for under 250 calories and 10 grams of fat! Even less if you skipped the butter and whipped cream! and if you count that you never eat all the syrup anyway! Ingredient list upon request! I think I did pretty good today. I went over to my mother in law's house just in time for my sister in law to pull a cake out of the oven "because she wanted some cake". I had a baby piece but only because I knew I was under on calories. So I'm good for today. yay! Sunday: |

Sunday : A big wedding with lots of food .. I need to get back on track next week! its so hard to start over even if you only take a 2 week break |
After a major overeating episode today, I'm determined to get back on plan tomorrow!

Okay, I want to use only 15 flex points! I would also love to work out, but I'm not gonna make any promises since I have to work AND I will probably be hungover!
Saturday: I went out and got sh*tfaced hammered! But I only used 11 flex points! YAY! Sunday: Okay well I went over my weekend goal of 15 flex points by 4 points, I actually ate 19. I don't feel guilt about it though because I was honestly hungry from being on my period! |
I have two birthday parties this week. Tomorrow is my grandma's 89th and then I have my uncles on Sunday. I haven't been eating sugar much and I would really like a piece of cake or something. So I think I will be especially careful with my food intake and have a piece of cake or pie. I don't know about exercise. I cannot get my car out of the driveway (too much snow and ice). I thought my husband could take me to the gym in his truck tomorrow but he's going to work before the party. So I will either shovel more ice and snow (that'll be my exercise) or I will do a video.

saturday - snowboarding competition and fundraiser - eating beforehand and staying about from the constant flow of alcohol
sunday - superbowl party - bringing my own food and not indulging in the pizza and another constant flow of alcohol I have been doing well. I do not want the weekend to be my downfall. |
I have my weigh in today, the last two weekends have been bad but I have still lost weight...but this weeks was very trying so I am slightly worried.. I really want to stay inside of my points...34 and then not use lots of my flex points...but its inevitable that every weekend I always eat them almost all!! And I have been ok with my workouts, about every other day I try...its better then doing nothing, and I am walking around at school.. well enough rambling I am going to try...

I had a horrible night last night (not with food though) and i have to go babysit for a bit. But as tired as I am right now, I am itching to get to the gym. yesterday was my off day..so my goal is

Getting ready to go do a video now. Not counting cals this weekend. I haven't all week and I've done fine. Will get back to it Monday but am not going overboard either.

leighish- those pancakes look delish!! I made pancakes too... I use Fiber One mix and I spread some chocolate flavored soynut butter on them.. they are fab! What did you use to make all those? They belong on the cover of a magainze haha!

I also used sugar free maple flavoured syrup, a small pat of smart balance spread, some light whipped cream and some fresh strawberries. |

Hi Guys! Well, I am still on bed rest from my knee injury, so I will focus on eating whole foods and within my points. :)

Well, never did my video. My 3 year old went up and fell asleep while I was making lunch and just woke up. I dont think she's feeling too hot. And now I have to shower and get ready to go to a high school play my niece is in. I'll try as soon as I get back.

Had a birthday party at Chuck E Cheese and gave in to the pizza, but getting up early to bike off that cheese!!

I had a bit of a pity party earlier today, but am now back to wanting to get the weight loss going again after two weeks of gaining.
Goal: 1500-1700 calories, 80 oz. of water, gym both days Saturday: 1660 calories, 112 oz. of water, gym day 1 Sunday: 1520 calories, 96 oz. of water, gym day 2 |
Today was majorly off plan...my mom was in town, and she took me out to dinner and then we also got some krispy kreme donuts at the grocery store. I was doing well until I had the krispy kremes. I feel like as soon as I eat something like that I just keep craving more and more and keep eating more and more. Then, no food is sweet enough and I want to just keep eating cakes and cookies and donuts and ice cream. So, I think for now, I'm going to try to avoid high sugar treats like those. it seems that as soon as I eat something like that, my control goes out the window. I end up eating more and more, even though I don't really want it.
So, i think I'm going to try giving up those foods for a week to see what happens. I'll still eat chocolate, because it doesn't seem to have the same effect on me. I want to learn to really enjoy foods that aren't totally junk food. I start to enjoy healthy whole foods until I have more desserts, and then the healthy foods suddenly don't taste as good. I don't know if that makes sense; it's like I'm fine until I taste something with very high concentrations of sugar and then I go crazy! So, tomorrow I'm going to get back on track and stay away from my trigger foods. Those pancakes looked really amazing. I love pancakes, but I think I need to put more fruit and less syrup and butter on them. Your pancakes sound so healthy and delicious, I should really try pancakes with fruit as a topping. Thanks for the idea! :) |
they actually did have syrup on them. Sugar free syrup it was like 30 calories for 1/4 cup. Which is a lot or syrup!

My boyfriend is eating waffles and I want a waffle.
But I won't do it. Nope. Cause they ain't gonna do me any good except momentary satisfaction. Nope - they aren't worth it. *chugs her water* |
I got up and put my pup out and then went straight back up and did Cardio Party so I wouldn't make excuses. So, I'm done now and don't have to worry about it the rest of the day!
I burned 499 cals and haven't eaten yet so I'm starving! I also did my measurements this morning. I have lost 5 1/2 inches since Jan 2nd. I'm almost exactly where I was when I took my measurements Feb 14th last year but feel so much fatter. (I suppose because I lost more after that and gained it again..who know?) I'll also be tracking cals today. I don't know why I would wait until tomorrow to start again. |
Oh ow. :frypan: weekends...
I always have the same daily plan... 1300 cals/ 64 oz water. On the weekends if I know I'm going out I count as much as I can and hardly ever go overboard... Fri- I ate quite a bit of snack food because I was craving it but stayed under my calorie range. Then went to the bar which put me about 500 cals over for the day (I drink rum/diet so not a lot of cals for a drink- like 120) But then stayed out practically all night only getting about 4 hrs of sleep. Sat- Ate right all day. Wasn't feeling top notch because of the night before so no desire to go bad food crazy. Went a party later though and had a few beers and some vodka. Ended up eating 1 slice of cheese pizza and some spinach/artichoke dip (that was pretty diet friendly- I made it myself for the party) :D Then went to a diner later and had one slice of french toast. So didn't go crazy with the food again, surely still over, I'm about to go estimate cals in a bit... but stayed out all night AGAIN only getting 3 hours of sleep. Sun- I'm BURNT OUT. have a superbowl party later and feel so blahhhh from the rest of the weekend that I will most definitely NOT be drinking or even in the mood to eat ANY party food. So to sum up my weekend... I have learned to control myself pretty well. The was a bad off diet weekend and it wasn't even so bad. Every day I have been chugging water like crazy to rehydrate and flush out the bad stuff. BUT on the negative, food isn't everything! I didn't eat that badly but the lack of sleep and alcohol is taking it's toll on me! So I don't feel great because even though I let go a little on the food that's fine- but I treated my body badly all weekend by not sleeping and now I'm paying for it. But hey, I'm young and I'm fun and in a way it was worth it!! haha |

iv been totally off plan this weekend. iv had three nights out with lots of wine! today iv not done much at all. been laazy! but ready to get back on track tomorrow. |
Yesterday was a success for me. I got a bonus workout in...I make saturdays optional and I went ahead and did 35 minutes and burned 450 calories.
I also stayed within my calories yesteday! Horray! I worked again today 45 minutes and 600 calories and I am making no promises not to eat a single hot wing...but my goal is to use portion control! |

Yesterday was not a good day.
Today started out with good intentions. But then we all went out for lunch after church & I had enchiladas. So, plan for the rest of the day is to eat light & I'm gonna head to the gym in a bit & do my 60 mins of cardio & then get the Shred in later. TOM showed up this morning, so I'm not even going to bother weighing because I'll be up like 7 lbs of bloat. Have a great day today everyone!!! =) |
