The next challenge

I'm already thinking about next challenge! I'm enjoying this soooo much that I would really like to run the next challenge! Its not only enjoying to me, but helping me to hold myself accountable & keeping me from straying off plan... So I would like everyone's input on how the next challenge should be! :D

How many times would you prefer to weigh in?

Once a week
At the beginning & the end of the challenge
At the beginning, middle & end of the challenge

How do you feel about the "weekly fun challenge", and earning points for your team?
I love it! Keep it!
Its okay, but I don't care either way
I think it should be different in some way
I hate it, get rid of it!

How long should the next challenge run?
1 Month
6 weeks
2 months
10 weeks

Is it better to have several small teams or a few larger sized teams?
Few larger sized
Several small

Lastly, please give me any input you have, on whatever this post did not cover. If you have an idea or input, please reply.

EDIT: Obviously I don't know how to post polls correctly................. :?:
Just reply with your answers.....

I think that weighing in once a week is best.

I like the weekly challenge, but I don't think you should get points for completing it.

It seems like fewer large teams work better.

thank you so much for doing this!
I am on my iPhone so sorry if my responses are out of order:)
I prefer to WI at the beginning and end of challenge but that is bc I am at a plateau
I like bigger teams, the challenge lenght should be anywhere from 6-10 weeks and I like the activity but I don't care either way what we decide about it
Thanks and sorry for my weird answers

Lots of people sign up and then drop. The more people there are on a team, the more likely that a good chat thread will be kept...

Please keep idea's coming in! & voting on what you want to see!
I really like getting everyone's feedback & hopefully making the next challenge even more enjoyable for all those who join it!

I'm so glad to see this..because I have been wanting a good challenge! My first challenge was TBL challenge for 3FC and it was awesome and I did great on that. Without challenge, I'm just like okay, I will do it...With challenge, I'm like YAY, I gotta do this!!! :D :D :D

Thats how I am! Thats why I want to keep this challege alive in here! I think by asking everyone's opinions I could make it better & better each time, and hopefully more & more people would join! :D

How about a weekly "newsletter" type thingy?? That has a "chellenge yourself" suggestion thingy in it that is for fun, and not points related? Also could have a "food for thought" section, a "Motivational quote", and "Question of the weeK" (Got those ideas from team faerie, we have been doing a question of the day & motivational quote of the day for our team).

Yay or Nay?

nicki rose98 01-29-2009 11:16 AM

Yay for the newsletter!! I love it! I haven't really done a true "challenge" per se yet so I am super stoked

JessieCat 01-29-2009 06:08 PM

Lalique- that sounds like a great idea!:D
