TOM Blues

No wonder I've been so irritable lately...I finally get my period after not having it for a whole year, due to pregnancy and postpartum. I knew it was going to happen any day, especially since I just started a new BCP and the blanks are coming up on Sunday. Still it was a shock because I just got down to 206.8 yesterday and now today I am 208.4!! Please tell me it is just because of TOM. I have been completely OP so I know I didn't overeat to gain!!

Also, does anybody else gain during TOM or lose? What do you do to keep the weight down during this?? I forgot how bloated, disgusting, and sick I feel when I get this!:(

More than likely its just TOM, and the water retention factor. It is really hard for me to lose weight when it is TOM because I want/do eat like twice as much as I normally would and I have no energy for anything.

I'd like to go a whole year with out a period, I just don't want to have a baby to do it. lol

I have been on seasonale and stuff where you only have one every 3 months, it made me damn near wacky.

I'm sure its because of TOM. I usually just skip weighing the week. Don't need the aggravation!

I am in the same boat- I started yesterday and weighed myself today and according to the scale I'm up half a pound- I'm like WHAT!!! lol. I'm hoping it's cuz of TOM and hopefully he'll go away soon.

I am going to work out again today and tomorrow as well this week- so I'm not going to give in!

And ug yes I have been HUNGRY- I will say though I don't eat as much as I did when I was on my period- yesterday I HAD to have some pb and j with milk- if I didn't I was going to murder someone lol.

I think that I must just have a really wonky TOM - which I only have every three months - I'm on Seasonalle.

For a few days before and pretty much during I usually don't want to eat ANYTHING. It's a force myself to eat situation. I've lost a pound a day for the last three days straight. However, today is the last day of my period, and I am ravenous. I want to eat everything in sight. I'm planning on going to town tonight, and I'm already thinking about what I'm going to get for dinner - and its not even 11 o'clock yet.

I think most of us gain a couple or more pounds before and/or during TOM, then lose it during or after. I still weigh, I'd rather know than wonder, and after a few cycles it's stops being so worrysome. Although still not fun :dizzy:

Looks like it's back with a vengeance.

I'm on day 2 of mine....and I'll tell you what I would LOVE To be pregnant again JUST to not have my period lol! But then again no I wouldn't.

I have gained .2 lbs since yesterday which isn't sooo terrible...but I dont want to EAT at all...I just want to lay on the couch...I dont want to shower or MOVE haha

Dont stress about it....its gonna happen everytime. just keep up the good work and after aunt flo goes away there is usually a loss if ur good:):)

Ug I'm dying here- I'm in so much agony I want to go home- stupid period GRR!

I felt so bad cuz last night when I got home hubby was all dressed nice- clean shaven- looking hot as ****- but I was so crampy I wasn't in the mood *cry*

At least he's understanding about it lol.

I am pissed.. I'm on my TOM and my other ended no more than a week and a half ago... I haven't been able to weigh myself because my wii-board batteries are dead and I hadn't gotten more yet and if I am back over 300 and I will not be surprised... But I am surprised by having a period TWICE in one month and we're just halfway through!

I'd definitely see a doctor if I were you- just to make sure it's not something serious.

My friend went through a patch where she had a period for over a month! I forgot what the problem was- but they gave her birth control pills to stop the bleeding. I remember teasing her about being on the pill cuz she was Ms. Purity. lol.

It might be just catching up with the over 5 months of not having one... I dunno...
