I am a rectangle, little hips not a curvy waist. I don't carry a lot of weight in my mid section I am just built that way. funny how different shapes can be. Oh and I think my boobs are shrinking the fastest this time. My C's are feeling kinda baggy, I haven't worn a B since early high school!!! I hope I don't end up looking like a little boy! (but looking like kate hudson would be just fine )
I'm a really odd shape, my boobs are too big, 36E is feeling a bit tight at the moment (at goal weight I'm 34D), and I have way too much fat on my waist and thighs. Strangely enough my forearms (upper arms is a different story) and calves are reasonably thin. My wrists&hands and ankles&feet are tiny, so I end up looking really obscure with extra weight. When I'm slim I have the sharpest cheekbones and cute dimples, now they've gone into hiding
hourglass, i fill up in the arms, thighs, hips and boobs AND face (bummer right?). tummy doesn't bulge unless i'm actually really overweight- which is why it's a bit bulgey right now! haha
I carry my fat in sort of an all over squishy way. I do have a slightly defined waist so that's one plus but I do have big hips, thighs, butt, boobs, calves, belly and flappy underarm bags. Grrr. If I wave it looks like I'm trying to take flight.
I hope I lose it sort of all over but what are the odds. I'm sure my boobs will go first and my stomach pooch last.
I'm mostly hips & thighs, though when I get above 150 (which I am now) I have a gut and fat arms too. But even at a lower weight, I am a small/x-small top and large/x-large bottom.
I carry little weight on my upper half - even at 180 I still had defined collar bones and slender shoulders. I don't have any boobs - barely pass into an A cup. -sigh-
At the moment my breast bones are already starting to show again and my ribs are -just- visible.
I tend to carry my weight on my hips and thighs first and only as I gain a lot of weight will I put any on my stomach or arms.
My calves are generally always slim and defined - my thighs at the moment while large are very toned. I barely have a gap between them...even at 120 pounds I barely had a gap between them because my legs are set close together.
I do carry weight in my bum as well but at the moment it's so perky from running, cycling and weights that it is just full and high. I actually really love my arse It makes any piece of clothing look sexy!
Yay rectangles! I tend to gain weight in the boobs first, followed by the stomach. the last place it goes is to my hips, and i've never gotten to the point where my arms have gathered fat. may arms, legs, and shoulders always look a little boney. the weight on my stomach is carried a little lower, not high like an apple shape, but not low enough to be a pear. my 34/36 DDs make me look a lot bigger than i am. i always look tinier when i wear a sports bra. the good news for rectangles (rulers?) is that while every pound gain really shows, so does every pound coming off. helps keep me motivated, at least.
Pretty evenly all over, whatever shape that is, I guess it means I carry my FAT well.....except that I have small but NICE boobs lol. The weird part is...when I was pregnant they didn't get any bigger...when I gained weight they didn't get any bigger..but right before I lost weight and even now they are a whole cup size bigger. Hope that it stays that way..cuz i LIKE it! hehe
I wish I were a pear, my sisters and cousins are all pear or hour glass. I'm evenly distributed, I gain weight and lose it evenly. Which would seem great but if one part of my body looks horrible then everything else does. As I lose weight everything just looks ok not like having great defined waist. I just think pears are the best shape I think clothes look better on pears as well as hour glasses because of the emphasis on a great waist. Plus health wise a pear is ideal b/c you don't store fat in your abdominal area and are less likely to have an abdominal circumference that contributes to heart disease etc.
I'm apple-shaped, large-stomached, and fat-headed, literally. I seemed to carry a wildly disproportionate amount of weight in my FACE of all places (lol), even for an obese person. I mean looking at pics of my face even 25 lbs ago is shocking. Fortunately, that spherical face was the first to go, and it gave way to an angled one.
I'm an... odd shape I'm finding. I have broad shoulders, but a slender upper body. Middle of the road boobs, a bit of a tummy, my hips are on the front and sides flat like Kansas, but I have a bubble butt on the back, attached to thighs that are deafeningly thunderous and H-U-G-E calves. Like when I was at 120 I still couldn't squeeze them into most boots.
I have the thighs and butt of a pear and the tummy of an apple.
