SO I have even more of an incentive to lose weight by the end of the year. One of my best friends is getting married in November and I am not only in the wedding but I am her Maid of Honor. So I got to look hot! lol. I just found this out today so I am super excited for her and for me because this makes me want to lose it even more so I can be sexy in a beautiful dress for her wedding.

It's definitely nice to get a little kick in the butt!! When she chooses a dress for you to wear you should hang a picture of it to keep you motivated!

You have a great attitude. She is lucky to have you as a friend.

I was 34 weeks prego in my best friend's wedding. I wasn't looking (or feeling) pretty at all and I hate looking at pictures. Good luck to you on your journey.

I'm a MOH in an upcoming wedding. I'm so excited! I want to be at goal by then! It's the last week of June!

Another maid (err... matron?) of honor popping in to say congrats! My best friend's wedding is in May so I'm trying to get in shape too. One thing that really motivated me was drawing a doodle of the dress we picked on a piece of paper and taping it to my mirror. (It's strapless *gasp*.) I look at it every time I think about skipping a workout or eating something I'm not supposed to. ;)

I'm having an all school reunion this July so I have to be for sure at goal by then. (Although I'm hoping to be by April.)

My sister is getting married in August and I'm totally using it as motivation :) I have pics of the dress up by my computer and its the backround on my laptop lol. I really need to work on my legs and arms for this....

yeah part of what kicked me in the butt to get going this time around was seeing pics of myself from friends' weddings in the last year or two. i am the biggest person in every picture. it's horrifying.

That's great motivation, and such a pretty dress! I got married in Aug, and although I was and am the biggest I've been, the best pictures are the ones where I felt confident and happy. Nothing is more beautiful than that which comes from the inside out. Cheesy but true :)

Well this is the dress I have to wear for her wedding! I love it, her soon to be husbands sister tried it on at the shop the other day (she is a stick) and it was so beautiful on her, it reminds me of a like a Greek goddess look.

My goal is to be in at least a 14 by her wedding in November. I am a 20 now I think that it totally attainable

kayhm -- you can definitely do that!! it's a really pretty dress. That drapey look is very flattering, as well, as it just sort of skims over everything!! And super comfy to boot :)

haha! true. i got used to being the fattest person in the bar at about 140 lbs. but sometimes seeing myself in pictures is an exercise in horror.
