Changing Tastes

It's amazing how your tastes can change, I think it's bizarre. I was just chugging a glass of water thinking "wow this is great!" I used to hate drinking water! lol

I know, I love it. It means your body can come to enjoy any number of things, as long as you take the first step towards better health, you'll be rewarded with more enjoyment. Coolness.

Man! I wish I could change my tastebuds to like veggies!! I am a diagnosed supertaster (more tastebuds than normal people...) so they taste really really bitter to me, even if they look and smell yummy!!

I've always loved water and it's almost the only thing I drink, but it's SO GOOD FOR YOU so I'm glad to see that you're enjoying it!! I've always had really great skin and I pretty much attribute it to the fact that I'm constantly well-hydrated.

I used to find water to be too heavy in my mouth, and hard to drink, now i love it, even though coke zero still reins as favourite drink. I really don't like chips though anymore and they were my go to snack.

I never used to eat veggies. And now since I've forced myself to eat some, well... Tomatoes aren't too bad. I still hate onions though!

I'm the same way with water.....I never really liked it, but now I find that I crave it! To me, nothing tastes better than an ice cold glass of water :)

Same with cucumbers. I used to hate cucumbers and really thought they tasted weird. But now I don't mind them....but for some reason, more so when they're cooked or cut thickly. The cucumbers at Subway for instance still creep me out a bit because they're so thinly sliced....haha.

I used to be the same with kidney beans/black beans but since I started adding them to salads and trying recipes with them (veggie burgers) I love them!

oh definitely. I used to dislike water, and not much a fan of veggie *i did eat them regularly before but wasn't enjoy them very much*
Since i forced myself drinking water and eat more veggies, my taste sure changed to like them, especially water.

Lucky all of you who like veggies, I'm still working on that one... hehe

I realized that my tastes changed today. I had a hashbrown from McDonalds this morning and it did not taste good at all. I kept on eating it cause i thought i was crazy and that it would eventually taste good. But alas it did not and i paid for it later.

I have been doing somthing really gross latley. Things that Iused to like, if I put it in my mouth, and i don't like the taste anymore, I find a serviette( napkin) , and spit it out. Why take it extra calories for something I don't like ?
