did i grow??
 

okay so i went to the doctor last week and she had me take off my boots so she could measure men to get an accurate bmi. i've always thought that i was 5'2" but as it turns out i'm really 5'4". i don't remember the last time i was measured but i'm trying to figure out if i was just off on my height, i grew, or if i am just standing up a lil straighter these days. anyone know when a girl stops growing??

I think in general, women stop growing taller between the ages of 16-18. Stranger things have happened, so you might have grown taller. But highly unlikely. The growth plates in your long bones, calcify which would make adult growth hard. I think you were probably measured inaccurately. I thought I was 5'8 for the longest time. In fact my license still says I'm 5'8. I'm actually 5'9 1/2. The same thing probably happended to you!

I bet you're standing taller too, with all that increased self confidence!

I grew an extra inch when I was 21 to a towering 5'4", but my doctor told me it was pretty rare.
