NSV - I'm a snowboarder chick!
 

I went snowboarding today for the first time! :carrot: And do I ever have the bruises to prove it!! :lol:

The last time I was on a ski hill was in grade 7, on a class trip. I was too embarassed to put my real weight down on the ski rental form (I weighed well over 200 lbs) so I lied and said around 198. Sooo a few hours later, the binding on one of my skis broke halfway down the hill!

I've always wanted to try snowboarding. Today... I fell all over the place, including almost every time I got off the ski lift... I cried a few times... I did a face plant and was unknowingly doing the lessons with a bloody lip after that... I have bruises all over my knees, my elbow, my wrist and my butt most of all... but I persisted! I made it down the hill a few times without falling, and it was fun. :D And although I might feel differently when I wake up sore all over tomorrow.. I'll do it again!

You go girl! I've always skiied, never boarded - I'd love to learn!
