OT: Just for fun...

Okay ladies, If you could make one food calorie free for the rest of your life, what would it be?

:dizzy:

hiimnatalie 12-28-2008 12:07 PM

this is going to sound silly, but white rice. I could eat my weigh in white rice !

junebug41 12-28-2008 12:12 PM

Pasta. I can't eat just a single serving, so it's a rare treat.

hiimnatalie 12-28-2008 12:15 PM

oooh Junebug, I am the same as you. I remember actually measuring out one cup of pasta and being shocked at how much I had been eating before. I love pasta- **** most carbs, but now limit big things like pasta dinners for special treats.

junebug41 12-28-2008 12:18 PM

It's really sad how much pasta I can actually put away! When I do have it (which is rare), I try to fill it up with veggies and sauce.

But I still always want more ;)

HeatherMcG 12-28-2008 12:18 PM

Chocolate!!!!!1

Ben & Jerry's Cinnamon Bun Ice Cream! MmmMmMM!!! Well shoot, I'll shoot for something better....ALL ice cream!!!! Oh my mouth is watering... :)

JackieRn 12-28-2008 12:31 PM

French Fries, I have been off of them completely for 2 months and calorie free is pretty much the only condition under which I would eat them now. Not the baked kind the real deal deep fried ones.

Bee20nine 12-28-2008 01:05 PM

Almost any flavor of ice cream.

dancingirl81 12-28-2008 01:19 PM

add me to the pasta bandwagon!!

choirgirlhotel 12-28-2008 01:48 PM

Potato chips for sure!!

~CGH~

janal14 12-28-2008 02:05 PM

Probably some chipotle...I love me some chipotle.

Luckily, it takes me three or four meals to finish a burrito.

deathnotronic 12-28-2008 02:12 PM

Pizza for sure.

Beautiful Ace 12-28-2008 02:18 PM

I think I'm going to go with potato chips, ONLY because I love eating crunchy things like that, and you can get them in SO many flavors. (I don't have a very big sweet tooth for say, ice cream.)

Star2Be 12-28-2008 02:39 PM

OMG, okay, this is really hard... I'm having trouble deciding between my two favorites--my favorite "salty" thing (FRENCH FRIES!) and my favorite "sweet" thing (Baker's Square chocolate peanut butter cup pie!). Argh! I think if it came down to it, though, I'd go with french fries. I'd probably get sick of that pie after a while, but god knows I'd NEVER get sick of eating french fries! Mmmm.

This thread is making me hungry, too! :hungry:

Chance0421 12-28-2008 02:52 PM

Bean & Cheese Burritos. I cannot get enough of them.

leighish 12-28-2008 03:36 PM

I forgot to mention my choice...
CHEESE!!!

Anti222 12-28-2008 05:09 PM

Garlic mashed potatoes with cheese melted on top 'til it's crispy. Wow, mouth just started watering...

carcar05 12-28-2008 05:11 PM

The whole Wendy's menu... oh wait, that's more than one food.

Well, then, their fries.

Or Dr. Pepper. Diet just doesn't do it for me the way regular does. HAHA

Mine too, thanks a lot:mad:. LOL

Wolf Goddess 12-28-2008 05:13 PM

Bread. It's not something that's high in fat or terrible by itself, but I can eat half of a loaf in one sitting if I let myself.

I live in Asia and these skinny Asians DO eat white rice like it's calorie free. It's a huge mystery to me!

My choice is tortilla chips. I could eat a whole bag which is probably over 1000 calories. They are so calorie dense, it pains me to eat like 10 of them and know I've already eaten almost 200 calories.... especially when I want to eat like 100 of them.

recidivist 12-28-2008 05:40 PM

I too choose cheese. Just about anything tastes good with melted cheese on top.

RN BSN 2009 12-28-2008 05:45 PM

cold stone ice cream!!!

jahjah1223 12-28-2008 05:59 PM

Chocolate !!

Blcarter84 12-28-2008 06:18 PM

any and ALL ice cream...not only would I make it calorie free but I would make it a vegetable too!! lol if only

Viatre 12-28-2008 06:27 PM

I'm torn between cake and sesame/orange chicken

AngelMae 12-28-2008 06:35 PM

Chocolate Cake with Peanut Butter frosting!!!

That is my all time favorite!

kmelody 12-28-2008 06:41 PM

Peanut butter!!! Really gotta watch how much of it I consume or I'd easily eat 1/2 the container in one sitting. Yum!

QTestRDH 12-28-2008 10:27 PM

I second Leighish, with cheese.

God I love cheese!

aangel22 12-29-2008 11:55 AM

Rebaked potatoes (mashed potatoes mixed with CHEESE and real bacon bits, butter, etc stuffed in the potato skin) topped with sour cream!! mmmm...why does cheese have to be so high in calories? Even the lowfat stuff is high!:(

ARGH, you ladies are really making me rethink my answers! Haha! These are two more foods that I would really from magically transforming to calorie-free! Tortilla chips are sooo amazingly delicious, and yes, it's SO hard to eat just one serving. And if I made peanut butter in general calorie-free, that would have to lower the calories of the peanut butter cup pie I mentioned before, too... Right? ;)

Leighish, curse you for making me think about this! Hehe.

x0me880x 12-30-2008 05:46 AM

Cheese pizza or ice cream!!! I used to live off those two. I havnt had either in over 2 months, it's sad really lol. Just kidding but from time to time I miss them.
