Did airplane seats get bigger, or did I finally lose weight in 2008? This year I:

*lost 43 pounds
*graduated with my bachelor's
*learned how to cook
*switched to a whole foods diet, and almost completely eliminated meat consumption to be in line with my ideas of ethical eating
*threw a few amazing parties and built my reputation as a hostess to be reckoned with
*found a way of eating that i will be thrilled to follow until the (far-off, health-uncomplicated!) day i die

A good year, but 2009 will be even better! (I'm thinking there's a mini-marathon on deck...)
